taking MDMA with heart palpitations

This might be self-explanatory, but I'm not sure. I have a minor heart condition in which my heart skips beats every so often. I have taken a small dose of MDMA with no ill effects, but would taking MDMA again be dangerous or put too much stress on my heart?

Nobody can really answer this but a doctor. Honestly, I would totally advise against it. MDMA is a stimulant, and can already cause tachycardia. With the idea of harm reduction, this is definitely not a good idea.

Someone I know is in the same boat as you, he's considered it before. Put's me in a tough spot because if you give it to him and something happens I'm going to feel like shit for a long time. On the other hand if he get's it from a random stranger and it's cut with some stim I'll would probably feel even worse.

I wouldn't risk it.

yeah totally makes sense. sorry if this was a stupid question, but i've been wanting to try really rolling. but knowing that it's not a great idea, i don't think i'll do it.

Pure MDMA really does not put much strain on the heart because it doesn't release that much adrenaline.

If your doctor said you should avoid exercise than that might be a problem because you might not be able to dance so much.
But if you can jog for 10-20 minutes without a problem, you can definitely take MDMA and dance.

If you take MDMA and you don't do physical activity (like dancing) your heart rate should only be around 110-120, which is really not much at all.

You should ask your doctor if it's safe for you to run for extensive periods of time, drink coffee, and go to the gym for weightlifting.

If he says it's ok to run, drink coffee and go to the gym, then you're ok to take MDMA because it's really not as bad as other stimulants like speed & shit in terms of its strain on the heart.

But either way, make sure you get some good crystal, big rocks, don't buy pills. Those things can have speed and other nasty stuff in them.

Heya,
I have something called Wolf Parkingson White Syndrome, it's a heart condition where very rarely and only about 3 times in my life my heart goes fast and doesn't stop. I think i've managed to make it up to 200+bpm when i was younger. I haven't had severe problems for many years now, only minor heart palputations from time to time.
When i was about 15 i used to take allot of speed, and stupidly allow my heart to go fast all night oblivious. It was dangerous and stupid.
I don't touch speed anymore because of that reason but instead i take MDMA. I don't find my heart race when i'm on it and i always make sure i've got someone keeping an eye on me when i'm rolling.
I don't know your condition or how severe it is but you should talk to your doctor about what the guy up there said earlier, can i have coffee then go to the gym. coffee is a much higher stimulant, then after his answer confide in him about mdma.
Just be safe man, make sure you've got all the facts and make sure someone looks after you, good luck :)

I also have heart palpitations, but only when stressed. I've gone to my family doctor about it, who says that it's really no big deal. If I get stressed out and the palpitations make me dizzy, the obvious thing is to de-stress (easier said than done when it's your job that's causing it and you need money).

During one week where I was having severe palpitations and eye twitches from stress, I rolled. Actually made both of those things go away for a couple weeks. But, like I said, it's not a condition for me. Just a low tolerance for stupid people.

Definitely discuss with your doctor how much stress you can put on your heart for it to become a problem. I'd actually ask what the maximum amount of stress is, so you aren't panicking when you come up. "I was thinking of starting an extreme exercise program, but I'm worried about my heart. How far could I push myself before I might be in trouble? What would you consider safe?" And so on. That information alone is handy to have, not just for using stims.

Yeah. I totally feel you. Fuck stressful jobs Santa!

"I was thinking of starting an extreme exercise program, but I'm worried about my heart. How far could I push myself before I might be in trouble? What would you consider safe?"

Yes. Best thing to ask without actually asking him about MDMA itself.

Like I also said. Ask him about drinking lots of coffee, running a lot, weightlifting. If he says you can do all that. MDMA is less stressful on the heart than weightlifting or running a lot. So you will be fine :)

Just don't panick, thinking you'll have problems. You can actually fall asleep on pure MDMA, that's how small the stimulant effects (adrenaline) are.

thanks. yeah I'm all cleared for exercise and coffee. my hearts fine with exercise, with stress i get some palpitations and missed beats.

I also get palpitations when I'm stressed. I think everybody gets palpitations when they're stressed and tired. My doctor said it's normal and everybody has palpitations every once in a while. Even atheletes :) So you're surely fine to take MDMA if you can exercise and coffee :P

Have a fun time rolling. It will prolly be the time of your life. Don't go above 150-200mg's of crystal mdma for your first roll if you want to stay safe. I'd recommend starting with 125 and re-dosing 25-50mg's an hour later if you want to feel the full heaven-like effects :)

Don't take it more than once a month, that's the MINIMUM time you should wait if you want every experience to stay the same. Otherwise it will get less and less pleasurable, so you won't have the amazing, absolutely mind-blowing heavenly time anymore if you take it too often.

Last time I rolled was 3.5 months ago. And that was my first time doing it. Best thing ever :D

So excited for my next roll which will be in a few weeks if not next weekend hahaha:D
