Bupe Best course of action switching from OXY to SUBS with only 5 perc 30s left.

Hey so here is what happened (oh and fireAndWater- I htink you have no clue what youre talking about...you probably think I take subs to get high and want to swith to another opiate to get high...either way you have no clue what youre talking about...especially if this is the 'first' youve heard of people using subs and other opiates)

Anyway....So yesterday at 3pm I took 5 oxy 30mg blues 24 hours after a couple weeks of doing 240mg once a day....I went to work at 6 and worked for 9 hours and by the end of my shift..around 3am I thought i could feel withdrawals coming but thought it was just in my head. I drank a bunch with my mates (im a bartender) and then went home and went to bed....

around 5-6am my girlfriend woke me up saying I was shaking the bed (there she blows! full blown wd folks!) so I got up and went to the couch and was in and out of sleep for 2 hours...then around 930 am I was just having tremors not even in and out of sleep...so around 10 I got up and said fuck it...I was in WD to the point where I just got up and walked out of my apt and onto the street.

at 1030 I said 'fuck this!' and took 2mg Suboxone thinking p/wd cant be much worse so actually around 1045 I could sit still...so I took 4 more mg and walked home....by 1130 I was alseep! I took my sub after 18 hours or so.

So sunshine and pinkCloud are correct...its not about hours its about being to the point where p/wd wouldnt be much worse....to the point where you can barely take it. And ive concluded that if you are on a high dose of something and you lower that dose you will go into WD sooner but dont necessarily need to wait a full 24 hours to take a sub which would also mean enduring more of the WD...just wait until its the worst.

thanks

Those words were written by you verbatim, mind you, not me - genius...
