Hi I'm just wondering if 4 hours is enough to wait between doses for a shot of dilaudid. For example if at 730 I did 6mg than at 1030 I took 30mg dxm and at 1130 did 8mg would that be okay? Oh and I have the 2s so I'd either take 1 with 100units than cold water mix filter into about 90units and use that to either mix one more or 2. I am considering using 70 units to make it more potent or even taking my time and do one at a time with 40 units and keep washing it through one at a time. It doesn't even gel up or anything.

When my wife was in the hospital after her C-section they gave her IV Hydromorphone every 4 hours on the dot.. However that was in a controlled setting with plenty of people around who could handle things if they went bad. As well, there was no DXM in the mix either. That's all I got brother, hope it helps. (Don't know the dosage she was getting either, sorry about that.).

The amount of water doesn't really make a difference as the same amount of drug is still going into your bloodstream.

Hydromorphone taken by injection ususally has effects lasting about 4-5 hours. 75% of it should be gone by that point. So it is generally safe to redose after 4-5 hours if you are no longer feeling the effects. Of course injecting hydromorphone has the risk of overdose so be careful with your dosage.

How are you filtering your solution? In addition to the hydromorphone Dilaudid pills contain inactive fillers such as lactose, magnesium stearate and sodium metabisulfite. These ingredients should not be soluble in room temperature water, so that means you are injecting particles of the fillers if they aren't being properly filtered. Dilaudid pills are relatively safe to inject compared to many other pills.

Edit: I forgot about the DXM. Do you find that it makes the effects of the hydromorphone last longer? That could play a role in whether it is safe to redose or not or the quantity that is safe for you to use. Please be careful :)

You'll be fine to take another dose, but it's not going to hit like the first one. I've learned with dilaudid you can only have one good shot per day. At least that's my case. Every time I would iv a second dose, it was disappointing and I always regretted it, I should've waited until tomorrow....

I usually like to have dilaudid and roxicodone on hand. Shoot dilaudid and roxi's after. To me oxycodone doesn't really have a "rush" you just get high quick when injecting, and when you redose you get higher/longer high. Redosing with dilaudid really doesn't do anything for me.
