Hydromorph Contin 12mg

I have been on 480mg a day ( the 40's) of oxycontin and took 24 of the fast release 20's in the same day since 2005 because I have a-vascular necrosis which is my blood doesn't flow to my joints so I have to get new ones put in every 10 to 14 years. I had enough to just take them orally but if you havent started dont bother, they are a total bitch to get of of. It took me 3 months and about $7,000 of crystal meth use after I got back to normal I tried snorting a 40 of oxy, it doed gt you a lot higher and gives you a lot of energy. I was lucky it was perscription and special order by doctor so I got everything free. I would rather die than try getting off them any other way. I was aldo given hydromorphone 4mg and 21mg of hydromorph contin 4 timed a day. These don't work to well orally but snorting 8mg of hydromorphone works pretty good, snorting one more 8mg of hydromorphone a half hour after the first one gives you a pretty good nod. But be careful you will get high for about a week or two because you need more and more every month. Now my shoulder and knee joints are going I'm on the 8mg hydromorphone again, I keep going up by 8mg a day every month, started at 3 pills a day, 5 months later up to 7 pills a day and it just goes higher and higher I havent even tried to snort the 12mg hydromorph contin, ni cant sleep after taking two.
Can you really snort the hydromorph contin beads if you crush them or just IV? I want to try it but don't know if it works.
Snorting and shit doesn't make everyone a junkie because there is nothing you can do about it. You take them for pain but your body wants more to heal the pain and feed the addiction and they are way to hard to get of of, especially if you have to get bach on them any way. We try all these other ways to try to feel the effect better because the normal way doesn't work anymore. No pill really gets rid of a persons pain they just make you high so your body and mind cant think about the pain anymore, when you nod out there is no pain at all.

I dont stick it in my ass because im not a drug addict,,im not trying to get high,,im trying to get better. Its people like you that make it difficult for those of us who are truely ill and suffering. You make me sick and you will prob kill someone someday with this "advice".
people with true illness and pain dont go to websites asking how to stick pills in your ass or how to shoot up. Why not go buy some herion,,save yourself the trouble. Stop abusing the health care system,,those of us who really need to see doctors for real reasons could use the appointment time that your using trying to attain more drugs.
I hope you all overdose,,death by sticking pills in your ass...classy ppl,,very classy

hydromorph contin? is that like dilaudid?

i've been doin dilaudids for like 4 years and have yet to hear of contins.
 
i much prefer the easier-to-prepae D8's and even d4s [normal pills, instant release], but thaks to the beads and some sort of high-up society corruption, canada at least is FLOODED with hydrmorphone. absolutely flooded. in halifax, the main city of eastern canada, there is no other opiate to be found. and there is a megafuckload of dilaudid around :S

holy crap yes....24mg for a newbie? im a very experienced user and wouldnt dream of 24mg. it takes me close to 60 mg oxy so if thats of any constitution as to NOT take that much...orally is a very different story though...i'd never take hydromorph orally. but even if i were to snort or plug it i wouldnt go over 10-12 being an experienced user. IV as my choice method i would stick with 4-8. hydromorph affects me much differently than oxy....its much closer to an actual heroin feeling. 4mg for me is probably close to 40mg oxy iv'd but just doesnt last as long

LOLOLOL dillys are in NO WAY stronger than heroin...you must be getting some crap smack. i do however like dillys just as much...if only they would last longer. there is nothing that matches heroin...but i dont want to sit here and lust after the drug either...i havent used in over a month other than my suboxone. i just thought it funny that you thought something prepared as a synthetic version of heroin would be stronger than the actual thing
 
To all those complaining about the beads in hydromorph contin i would suggest getting a pill crusher. It takes abit of work but you can crush the beads up nice and fine with a pill crusher.

Actually dilaudid (hydromorphone) is more potent on a milligram per milligram basis then pure diamorphine aka heroin. Also dilaudid is not a synthetic version of heroin! When is that myth going to die already. Both dilaudid and heroin are semi synthetic opiates. Fentanyl would be a example of a synthetic opioid.

So you can stop lol loling now =D

Having used both hydromorphone(diluadid) and diacetylmorphine(heroin). I much prefer diluadid. I think it has a uniquely physical rush and I can physically feel it travel up my arm, hit my heart and explode through my body in this clenching, squeezing feeling of pure bliss. And yes, hydromorphone is stronger than diacetylmorphine(heroin). When we talk about strength of a substance, it is really a comparison of weight or amount to another compound. Codeine is strong when taken in 1,000's of mg doses but substance to substance, pound for pound, diluadid is more powerful than heroin, the strongest I do believe goes to fentanyl though where 1mg of any other opiate around would equate to micrograms of fent.
 
HydroMorphContin aka Hydromorphone Controlled Release Capsules come in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, 24mg, and 30mg. Hydromorphone is 3-4x the strength of Morphine, and also has a higher Oral B/A than Morphine does. Hydromorphone's Oral B/A is around 35-40%~, and its Intranasal B/A is around 52-58%. So crushing the beads is your best bet to get the most out of each capsule, unless you are either tapering, or using them for legit pain, your best would be to swallow them whole Q12H. (dose every 12 hrs.) and get your doctor to prescribe you a BT (Breakthrough pain med) such as Oxy-IR or Dilaudid aka Hydromorphone-IR. If you are not an IV user like myself than Hydromorphone is best taken Intranasally. (Intranasal use of Hydromorphone is actually stronger than Rectal Administration.)

I am prescribed the HM-Contin 24's TID. So thats a total of 72mg of Hydromorphone per day. Although, I've been on this dose for awhile now, like 2-3 months and I don't get anything for B/T cause I am supposed to tapering, but in all honesty I think I need to signup on the Suboxone waiting list, and back on Suboxone because since I have been doing my HM-Contin mainly intranasally, although I will swallow them the odd time. But I need to get myself in a pattern of swallowing them. I have been using Opiates for almost 9 years, and my tolerance is just insane (not dicksizing - just worried on what to do to lower my tolerance) because no way I could go C/T right now. I am also on 40mg of Diazepam per day as I have been addicted to Benzo's for longer, but never really started to abuse them heavily until 2008 or so..

I am thinking of asking my doc for a BT med a long with the HM-Contin... like OXY-IR would be nice, but I doubt he will write that. Most likely Hydromorphone-IR.

We don't have Opana in Canada yet, but I can't wait to try it. But if you are in Canada and looking weather to go with MSContin or HydroMorphContin, I would definitely choose the HydroMorphContin over MSContin any day. about 15-20% higher B/A than morphine, and the strong B/A of intranasal use.

And hydromorphone is stronger rectally than intrnasel use.
If you can crush those beads up, try it rectal.

Oxymorphone is not really that much stronger than Hydromorphone. Especially Oral Oxymorphone, but if you were to do it a comparison of Hydromorphone VS Oxymorphone Insufflation (Intranasal), there would not be much difference. Keep in mind as I'm sure you know that the withdrawals from both Hydromorphone, and Oxymorphone are MUCH MORE INTENSE than Oxycodone, or Hydrocodone for example.
I've been on the HydroMorphContin 30's for a few years, but pretty much intranasal use everyday, it was insane to come off of. Even on 16mg of Suboxone now, i'm slowly starting to see a turn around, but holy shit, talk about stomach pains, feels like somebody is stabbing you in the stomach with a fucking knives!
 
The original thread was from 2008, although it has been bumped several times since, (often for no good reason). But even the last post before this most recent bump was from 4 months ago. BDD is a fast-moving forum and we prefer that people not bump old threads unless they have something really important to add. I'm going to close it as I don't see any real reason for this particular thread to continue and I don't want people seeing it at the top of the page, thinking it's new and replying to the OP or other old posts.
