So, i tried shooting a bunch of MS Contin last night, and things didnt go so well.

Im pretty sure I injected a bunch of wax or some shit. I also tried using old detachable needles to draw up the GELLED SHIT, and they had some blood in them, which i rinsed out but, by the last injection i was nodding hard enough that im pretty sure i was VERY UNCLEAN (eg re-used a peice of cotton that had fallen on the floor, wet)

Today i woke up with a fever, chills, flu symptoms, and a hard, inflamed bicep vein that hurts every time i move my arm. TL;DR FEVER CHILLS WAX+BACTERIA INJECTION. HOW LONG DO I WAIT FOR IT TO GO AWAY BEFORE RUNNING TO THE ER????

other symptoms include pain all over, horrible headache and pain in neck, feels like eyes are bulging out, and etc flu symptoms

the vein is large and hard and hurts over a length of about an inch, i dont remember missing a shot ever. Im very sure I pulled back and made sure i saw blood every time. I know what a missed shot feels like and this is DEFINITELY the vein itself. Though if you were to look at my arm all youd notice is a medium bump (no bruising)

if the flu symptoms dont start getting better by the next day could it be a blood infection and should i run to the ER?

the worst is every time i even move my head, my neck muscles KILL and the headache is FUCKING bad to the point it hurts to even LOOK IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION

im worried some shit went to my brain or something

experienced IV users who've either had and/or seen these symptoms in others, will be able to help me.

guess what: "hospital nao" is what i'd do in the end, even if you dont spam it 100 times in the thread! fascinating isnt it???!!!

You OBVIOUSLY did not practice it, hmm, dropped cotton on the floor, Its not like I walk on this floor and don't track around harmful shit from the bottom of my dirty shoes, so ill just pickup the cotton and use it anyway. Used old needles with blood in them, well that wasn't smart now as it?

Could be cotton fever. But who cares.

Thats not flaming. Thats called making a statement, telling you what you should do, (as We, BL, are not medical professionals) since you seem to be crying for help saying you don't want to die. I had it in Nice bold and red text. But I decided to remove it since you do not like advice.

I am very mature, very helpful, any I know for a fact I am WAY smarter than you.

Thyme how are you feeling now? What exactly are your symptoms and are they getting better or worse? It sounds like you have an abscess/infection. If the symptoms have not improved I would highly recommend seeking medical attention. I know it really sucks going to the doctor/hospital when you've been doing drugs, but if you tell them it was your first time, you've totally learned your lesson and will never do it again, etc, they should be reasonably nice to you and not call the cops or anything. Better safe than sorry.
 
I apologize for not seeing this earlier, I actually clicked it but didn't read til now.

This is wasted time that you should be spending with health care professionals, Bluelight is not an emergency service.

Lesson to be learned here, don't inject MSContin, especially with such horrible (no) HR technique. Oh and:

Go to the hospital. I had a similar experience, and wound up in the ICU for 1 week followed by four more weeks in the hospital recieving antibiotic infusions.
