Peter Fox - Schwarz zu Blau

His rap voice is really similar to Nelly but with more angst and passion. Unfortunately I'm not overly fond of rap if I don't understand the lyrics and while that earthy bass sounds awesome initially the sound never really develops in the song and became very monotonous and muddy, if that makes any sense. Still pretty decent though, 5/10.

the first minute is great, the voice expresses a lot of melancholy and fatalism, but then it's just repeat repeat repeat. Really good background music though.

yea... i was grooving to this while reading the gza/tyson thread and im like "this is dope, has that french vibe" which i would've known if i had read the title, but then i see it is french im like "ahh yea" i don't know what instrument it is that gives it that parisian vibe but i love it. 8/10

If this song was a test to gauge musical taste, I think I just failed . I dunno, I guess it wasn't 'bad' necessarily, just not something I'd ever listen to again. I just smoked a joint maybe ten minutes ago and I still didn't really get hooked at any point, which, in my book, is a pretty rare occurrence so I'm just gonna trust my gut with this rating and give it a 4/10 - competent but uninteresting.
