Had a hell of a past several days. Several days taking my usual clonazepam and alprazolam (PRN and bedtime) along with the fairly new script of mixed amphetamine salts XR (10 mg) every morning along with 200 - 400 mg tramadol daily. Yesterday, I had to go to the ER as refered by a GP for a severe ear infection (which was, at one point, really causing horrible pain). At the ER I was given two pushes of IV hydromorphone, 1 mg each. With no tolerance that had me very comfortable. I was discharged with a script for # 72 Percocet 5's, and only written by a PA! Last night into tonight I have been enjoying a little oxycodone binge, although I slept through the first two doses unitentionally, depsite taking 10 mg mixed amphetamines salts XR along with it? I was perplexed that I could sleep on amphetamines, especially having almost no tolerance, and I only took my normal doses of benzos. I do not get it. The two doses today, however, were not in vain. I have kept my tolerance to opiates very minimal, only taking 10 mg oxycodone at a time, but re-dosing takes away some of the "magic". I am still quite comfortable, though, and plan to continue this for a day or two more. I will still have a lot left over, which I can use here and there for better recreational result. That IV hydromorphone, though, it was only my second time I ever recieved it yesterday, and it was just wonderful, with a rush starting with a pain and heaviness in my legs leaving me in a state of lucid, but numb narcosis. It is unfortunate, though, when the ear pain was truly bad all I had was tramadol and a steroid which did little at the pain's peak. But all worth it for that incredibly, almost unbelievable ER rx.
