Was struggling to find something that i could get into whilst sunbathing - everything tried was just giving a 'Nah not enjoying that' feeling. In the end i gave 'My Best Friend Is You' by Kate Nash a second listen and enjoyed it very much. Its a grower and very good. I know its been out a couple of years but only just re-listened to it.

Also Richard Ashcroft Keys to the World sounded pretty damn fine.

Was on a blend of poppy tea and etizolam to start with which was good for relaxing but wasnt doing much for music appreciation. So i then took a bit of speed which ramped up the appreciation factor several fold.

She was pre-wank era for me. I have a random copy of 'Now That's What I Call Music 47' that my sister once owned, containing other classics including Zombie Nation, All Saints and Delerium. Blast from the past or what?

Wooh Zombie Nation! Mildly more tolerable than the Vengaboys I guess.

Actually I really like that, it was my ringtone for a bit.

Aye, Zombie Nation is a classic but I ruined it by listening to it on repeat too many times.

This CD likely sowed the seeds of my love for electronic music. Most of it is cack (hello Texas) but there were three or four classic dance anthems...Time To Burn was probably my favourite song when I was 10.

Also Modjo - Lady (Hear Me Tonight) :sus:
