I'm surprised I havent spotted this. And I thought Carlsberg 8% Export was novel. Not that I bother with lager any longer, but I could and likely would make a strict exception should I spy this in the local (or any) offie.

Where did you pick this up then?

Tea total tonight - I'll be on the wine tomorrow and I have 4 Druids Irish Cider in the fridge. I cant say I'm much of a drinker, but since the Druids are 4 for a 5r in most places I'll generally tend to pick up 4 if I'm near the offo and chuck them in the fridge until I feel like it (as usually I only feel like it when I'm flat out smashed for cash and I cant score anything else/at all).
 
Some bacardi superior rum. Friend got me a bottle since she basically owe's me. I know there are way better drinks out there but I still like this liquor.

You just panned me for drinking fosters and your on the strongbow? Jesus mate thats one of the worst ciders about, koppaberg ftw!

And aye brimz they must have stupid prices in the local shop today, duno if it's 50p a unit but it's daft!
 
I love strongbow upa street drinkers.

Although I've had a few Budweiser and miller tonight but thats it for me thanks to Xanax.
 
Strongbow - and all generic equivalents - are obviously shite. But they are also in the handy midrange of ABVs and cheap as fuck. Fosters, Carsberg, Carling et al are not only shite but also watery piss and not especially cheap.

Perhaps coincidentally, am just finishing the last of me generic "Strongbow" (also 5.3% but cheaper and not significantly nastier). Robinson's apple & blackcurrant also helped it slip down and - a revelation to me - drastically reduced the insane level of heartburn cider gives me. Didn't skip it completely but the reduction is gobsmacking. After 6l of cider I should be mainlining Rennie's but haven't even needed to munch any yet.

Sainsburys Generic 5.3 cider n their own apple n Blackcurrant is a winner i always use it when drinking tasteless cider!

Koppaberg is a birds cider. Strongbow is pish but at least it's less girly. Westons or Henneys is where it's at. I haven't had any cider for 4 months, I'll remedy that when I get back to Scotland next week.

Not bad but not very spicey, orangey or indeed gingery. But quite refreshing on a hottily hothot afternoon. Think I like it more than standard Crabbie's though. Always remember Crabbie's tasting nicely gingery but it just tastes like watered down and fizzed-up syrup from a stem ginger jar. Way too sweet, way lacking fire :(

Think me tastebuds just work better since I stopped putting sugar in tea, coffee and stuff cos loadsa stuff I used to like just tastes sickly oversweety syrupygunky now. Same goes for salt. Heinz beans, for example, are truly vile beyond belief when you can actually taste 'em. Like a council salt gritter collided with a Nutrasweet delivery van near an open sewer :|
 
Fucking love red wine. Why does it say San Pedro? Please tell me it's a bottle of cactus.
