Well I just showed you literary analysis that demonstrates it contains more hate towards Jews than Mein Kamph - the archetypal anti-semetic text. So it is hardly unjustified dislike of an ideology. Mohammed himself rounded up several tribes of Jews and wiped them off the face of the earth, yet it is still claimed it is a religion of peace? LOL. Yeah, he's a regular Jesus alright.

Yeah, we follow a Jew. Nice try. Show me the stories of Jesus rounding up groups of Jews, cursing them, and beheading them. See, an obvious example of you making unsubstantiated bullshit comments about Christianity to piss me off. They might highlight the oppression of Jews towards Jesus, but it doesn't advocate revenge or doing anything about it. That would be against Jesus' teachings. Find me one teaching that's on par with the one above, and i'll give you another 50 from the Quaran and Haddith :)

Well since he was a Jew himself (as you point out - quite possibly one from an ascetic, pious sect) and Christianity as such didn't exist, it would be a little strange for him to behead people for sharing his religion, wouldn't it? :\

And I've already pointed you in the direction of the books that didn't make the canon, one of which attests that Jesus himself was a prolific murderer before he'd even had his bar-mitzvah.

But hey, don't take my word for it. Read the Bible. The full Bible, and not skip the bits that were suppressed by the same Roman establishment you claim was 'un-Biblical'.

Haha good one. Christianity = the bible. Islam = the Quaran, Haddith and Sira. Look at the books side by side. One contains no anti-semitism. The other contains stories of Jews being rounded up and killed, describes them as the ultimate enemy, describes them as rats etc. Mohammed even cursed the Jews on his death bed in his final words! And yet you think I shouldn't dislike this ideology? If it wasn't so intimately wrapped in a religion followed by primarily brown people you'd be all over it big time. If you made even 1% of the excuses you make for Islam for Christianity you wouldn't have any criticisms to bring to Christianity's door. You are heavily biased through and through.

You saying look at parts that didn't make the compilation because they weren't true or verifiable in any way is clutching at straws and if you were even vaguely honest with yourself you'd admit that, but I know you won't. You made the statement "The NT contains more anti-semitism than Mein Kampf". I'm guessing after some frantic googling you couldn't find anything, so you said this.

They weren't 'true or verifiable'? :D

So you're saying the NT is true and verifiable? How about the multiple discrepancies between the Synoptic Gospels, for a start? Or the highly dubious translation from the original Greek texts?

We don't even have to go near the Apocrypha if you don't want - there's enough in the KJV to make people ask some serious questions about the veracity of the contents.

Even many Christian clerics doubt their value as 'historical accounts'. Do you seriously believe them to be literal truth?

In your mind i'm sure it was. Switching from us talking about anti-semitism in the Quaran which you couldn't defend you changed it to anti-semitism in the NT which you couldn't substantiate you changed to anti-semitism in texts not present in the NT which you changed to a discussion about why those texts aren't in the NT lol... flip flop flip flop.

How does one win against someone who pinning down is the equivalent of nailing water to a wall? You haven't subtantiated there is anti-semitism in the NT, just in some stories that other people wrote around the time of it's compilations that NO ONE ON EARTH FOLLOWS. I guess your apparently working class friends don't really make sure that you are vigorous in substantiating your view of the world huh?

Sorry Kate, I thought we had this wrapped up yesterday but sam couldn't help but carry it on with his comments. Great mod! I think it now takes 2 hands to count the amount of people he's chased off the board by being a dick since I started posting about a year ago.
