Got Bupropion Questions

So my doc gave me these Bup's for depression i had like a year ago... but i really didnt have much depression and i have a full bottle, i dont take them and im not sure what i should do with them is there any use to these? There Bupropion HCL 100MG got 60 of them ha. Can these do much?
 
Are you asking if you can get high on them by taking more than prescribed or something? It doesn't make you high, maybe mildly stimulated, and if you take more than you are prescribed that greatly increases the risk of having seizures. If you aren't depressed, having trouble with motivation, or trying to quit smoking, then don't bother taking them.
 
No im not saying i want to get high on these i just want to know if there is a use for these if im not taking them at all.. should i just toss them?

I was on Wellbutrin XL (Bupropion extended release) for years for Bipolar depression. Bupropion has no recreational effects, really. and it's a non SSRI. They actually take a few weeks to start working and effecting your moods. It's not like, you feel out of the blue one day and take one and you're all of a sudden feeling great. Know what I mean? But then again, that's with the extended release. I'm not sure if the ones you've got would work differently. Sorry if I'm no help, I feel like I'm rambling... gotta few addy's in my system, lol.

The use for them is what it is prescribed for. If you don't have any symptoms then you would have no use for it. Why did your doctor prescribe it to you if you don't have depression??

McStoni is correct that you have to take bupropion for a few weeks to notice a difference. It is used to treat depression, to help quit smoking, and for lack of motivation. If you are actually chronically depressed, then take them every day as prescribed. If not, then don't take them.

We are not here to tell you if you can get high off random substances in your medicine cabinet, sorry. Check the guidelines in my sig :)
