Alcohol is nothing but poison as far as I'm concerned, anyway...
But esp. when added to opiates or apap or benzos.....I could keep going but I'll just type...etc, instead...

Alcohol can cause problems when taken with benzos or opiates, but my bigger concern would be alcohol + acetaminophen. Very toxic combo for the liver. I'm sensitive to that, since my liver has been threatening to divorce me for years.

Don't be afraid to go to 10mg, it's what I would recommend unless you find 5mg particularly overwhelming. (which is very rare, yes in new users)

Alcohol is trouble no matter what..but yeah..alcohol and apap both appear to be almost identical enemies trying to sneak up on us...

5-10 mg is a pretty usual starting off point..w/harm reduction in mind...do you disagree?
that said..I agree that if 5mg. does it for the op...than there's no reason to mess with a good thing.
