Opioids 1st time hydromorphine issues, disappointed

Hi, i've only done cocaine as heavy drugs are concerned, but i got 3 12mg dilaudid capsules. i did the whole thing right, crushing the balls and IV'd around 4mg yesterday and 2mg today.
The rush was a let down, i feel it hard but its more of a huge slam in the head/body than a pleasure thing. afterwards i get the side effects, itchiness, dry mouth, hard to pee but i don't get rly a "feel good" thing... maybe it's just different to each person? or does it get better? anyway i'll try to get heroine or oxycodone/oxymorphine to try it out...

btw zero opiate resistance as i mentioned.

Hydromorph is actually Dysphoric rather than Euphoric if you want to feel good and Euphoric than Oxy is your best option.
 
took another 2mg. not bad i guess but feels short for what ppl call "one of the biggest opiate highs" no?

dysphoric how so? i just wanna feel good like heroine must be. i wanna feel good or else whats the point in a downer?
 
I am not sure what Thomas is talking about, I think hydromorphone is pretty euphoric. Let me tell you, the wrong opiate is not your problem. Especially to an opiate naive person hydromorphone is just as good as anything else out there. You are not used to opiates, that is why this happened. Often times new people will be quite underwhelmed the first time they take opiates, in fact I was one of those people myself and now I am a heroin addict. I don't really know why, but it is possible to take an opiate and not feel any euphoria and only get the side effects. Especially if you are used to other kinds of drugs, you will often be looking for some type of intense pleasure feeling that is just not there with opiates. It is a more subtle high than alcohol, weed or cocaine. If you keep experimenting though, chances are you will discover the joy of opiates and wreck your life.
 
Well firstly, the hydromorphone 'XR' capsules are garbage. :/ I wouldn't recommend crushing the balls up to IV. That may be why the high was pretty bum. But I agree with burnout, if you aren't used to an opiate high I can see how it might be a let down? Especially if you are used to IV cocaine. But really IV hydromorphone is my favorite IV opiate. :/ I've never used the capsules, nor would I want to. Injecting pills is silly enough, that is like injecting dexamp XR, crushing the beads lol. But to each his own, hopefully you used a micron filter.

I don't think opiate highs are subtle, some maybe. But hydromorphone IV is a shortlived high.

i do take other meds. Anafranil/diazepam/depakine chrono/seroquel (prescribed, depression problems). i'm afraid that's whats causing interference..

you're wrong about ball crushing tho, it's how its done read about it in bluelight plus my junkie friend taught me.
 
Just my opinion on the balls. I think you would have experienced a better rush/high if you injected the mallinckrodt brand hydromorphone. Just my .02
 
I don't know many people that really enjoyed their first opiate experience. They either took too much and got sick, or just didn't know the good effects to embrace. It took me about 3x to understand the opiate high, and the rest as they say, is history.

can you explain to me your view of the opiate high?

I doubt this is the reason. Like I said, I didn't enjoy my first opiate experience either. SOme of those drugs (especially diazepam) can possibly interfere with an opiate high, but some people enjoy the combination. First you need to experiment a lot more with opiates. IF youi still cant enjoy them, then its time to start looking into the other meds. How much diazepam do you take? It is not safe to mix with opiates in large amounts.

thx. i take 10mg at lunch and 10mg at night. oh and i usually take 10mg zolpidem(ambien) during the afternoon for the high, it gives me slight euphoria. so is this dangerous to mix? and yeah on my shopping list next is heroin or oxy

Obviously no pain, followed by a warmth I feel in my stomach, which expands throughout the rest of my body. I become very empathetic, and love helping people and talking to them. I usually go though my phone book on my cell phone and call/text a lot of friends, and am just very nice and friendly with them. I can't explain the actual feeling that well, but just what I do with the feelings. I become very content with life, and things like food, company, and of course smoking cigarettes become a lot more enjoyable. In higher doses I nod out (eyes mostly closed, a lot of euphoria as your brain kinda wanders, but you aren't exactly dreaming since you are aware of it, but just surrender to the euphoria and relax), which I actually don't strive for since I prefer the energetic, more talkative type high from moderate dosing.
 
still pretty worried about my last post where i say the benzos i take... and if its a dangerous mix

also i have a slight epileptic tendency... opiates affect it?
