BITCHES, stop fuckin with the rhyme scheme and think about your posts or you're in for a whoopin by a big green mean incredible MOTHAFUCKIN HULK


(people should note whether they're A or B so once it gets down further in these threads it's easier to follow)
 
a short introductory poem for Panic:

ABAB is a simple rhyme scheme (a)
in which A comes first and B second (b)
then the rhyme scheme repeats (a2)
roses are red is one such legend (b2)

you've inserted your ass rhyme into the thread
before the appropriate time
learn some poetry before you end up dead
from me coming over there and bustin your ass (that'd be ABAC)
 
basically, but each letter has a short existence
and rhymes with another only one time

now we move onto the next ABAB
and see how it doesn't relate
to the prior's melodic scheme
it's only 4, not necessarily 8

(each individual A or B doesn't have to be a sentence, the whole grouping of the ABAB verse usually is at least one though. You could write a book in ABAB with the whole thing being the same As and Bs if you wanted, though you'd probably run out of rhymes pretty damn quick lol)

"Turducken" doesn't rhyme with "it"! Your explanation of ABAB wasn't an explanation of ABAB; it was an explanation of couplets (AA), broken up into four lines instead of two. "Scheme" doesn't rhyme with "repeats" or "ABAB". The only rhyme scheme that you explained correctly was ABAC.

(a) and say fuck it
(b) chickens lay eggs
(c) so do turducken
(b) but I like duck legs
(c) they're good for suckin'

I don't think it matters if we do ABAB or ABCBC or AZQBQBZA.

I guess I just have a looser feel for what rhymes in my own head than you do. "Turducken" and "fuck it" rhyme really well to me. Same thing with scheme and repeat, I understand that it's not like scheme and meme or beam etc, but they rhyme in their own way for me. Interesting. I'm just a kid that did too many drugs when he got sick of high school and dropped out though, perhaps that's had it's own effects upon me.
 
I kind of understand how "turducken" and "fuck it" rhyme, but "scheme" and "repeat" aren't even close. Having said that, I don't think they need to be perfect rhymes and I don't think this thread needs to be ABAB either. Maybe we could stop criticizing each other's rhymes and just rhyme however we want...
