RCs Smoking ethylphenidate without freebasing

I'm not entirely sure if ive got the term freebasing correct, but as I understand it most ethylphenidate comes in a form that most people would not want to smoke. Like you would not want to smoke cocaine without freebasing it into crack first. However I've got extremely hardened lungs from years of smoking and so can bear the pain from smoking it. Ended up smoking a fair bit the last few days, before I realised this is probably stupidly unhealthy in some way.

How is this unhealthy, what difference does smoking it in its raw form (so to speak) have in terms of smoking a freebase version? I'm kinda noob about smoking chemicals. Always been a snorting or bombs away guy.
 
I asked this question in a thread talking about the pain when snorting the stuff. The crystals I had looked perfect to smoke. I heated it up a little and it looked to evap right. I would be concerned about the health risks though because I haven't seen any place on the web about people vaping it.

I also read thread that IV'ing wasn't smart because of how corrosive it is to the tissue in the nostrils. The theory is it would do the same to the viens. Well I'm in the RC business professionally and to be honest, it's been kind of implied to me by the majority of the researchers of EPH were, in fact, injecting the chemical.
 
IV ethylphenidate is indeed corrosive. This is one you don't wanna miss. And not too concentrated... I was going about 100 mg/ml but any higher than that and you notice pain upon puncture and removal. Probably 100mg/ml is kinda high if you're into the whole HR thing.

Never tried smoking any of these weak stimulants, probly not good to inhale and exhale giant clouds of vapors for a tiny little buzz.

Maybe I'm just a huge pussy or something...but reading about how this chemical is corrosive and stuff, just kind of scares the shit out of me. I'm pretty sure this was the same chemical I was reading about in another thread, and they said they put it in a Styrofoam cup diluted in water.... & it started eating through the Styrofoam. I mean, if this shit is corrosive to your veins when IV'd, and burns your tongue if tried to be taken subL...

....What kind of damage is it doing when it's ingested? Don't get me wrong though, It does sound like a fun chemical. Just... all the corrosive talk, scares the shit out of me.

Lol, also becareful plugging, especially eating a dozen Atomic chicken wings the same day....

And yes I was also very concerned with its corrosive effect on my nose. Even months of daily meph use has not done as much dasage as a few days binging on snorting this stuff has. To add another question, does anyone have a theory on why it is proving so damaging to human tissue?
 
Ok. So is the formula the same, you can basically treat this as gram of cocaine and go ahead as if u would ?

The only ROA I've went with so far is insuffflation. It burns the shit out of the nose. When you get the crystals crushed down to a nice fine powder, it tends to go straight to the back of the throat which chokes me everytimes. Plus it still burns like hell. That's why I was interested in this thread. I want to hear still if anybody HAS vaped it. But the stuff did seem to have a good coke-like effect. Too bad I couldn't enjoy it because I was always choking or was trying to blow the shit out of my nose. I would like to try eating some next time.

Btw ( if your lungs can handle it) smoking ethyl is comparable to crack. If you can get enough you will be pleasantly high for 2-5 mins, then crave more. However the comedown (due to its longer half life) lasts a lot longer, so get your benzos or booze at the ready.

You can easily freebase with baking soda to make an easily smokable version that is less harsh on the lungs, but thats privaleged knowledge at this point*

* Until someone with two brain cells posts it below.
 
Smoking RC's? 8o These chemicals aren't exactly regulated heavily, and are bad enough to ingest. Shooting, snorting, and plugging them is just allowing impurities to get in to your bloodstream without any sort of filtering.

I mean, not to argue. But shouldn't the fact that they are unregulated really suggest that these substances are less likely to have many impurities, such as cuts/binders/fillers?

That's assuming these RC producers are actually have morals, and don't cut these chemicals themselves...

They can't get in trouble for releasing non-pure products for the sake of higher profits, as these chemicals are "not for human consumption," obviously. I'm not saying high quality RC's don't exist, just that I wouldn't trust them, imo. At least I know exactly what regulated pharmaceuticals are cut with, as they are indeed for human consumption.
 
My ethylphenidate was tested via GCMS infront of my eyes and is 99.3% pure ethylphenidate.
 
Where do you get access to an expensive GCMS machine, just out of curiosity? Does your university allow you to bring random chemicals to lab? ;) Or do you actually know the producers?

Inferences from similar chemicals and analogues infact tell us that ethyl-phen is probably less harmful to abuse than the prescription drug methylphenidate.

"As for ethylphenidate itself I can't say, but it is not persistant in humas; the ester moiety is quickly converted to ethanol and the free acid(ritalinic acid) by hydrolytic enzymes....these metabolites are actually less toxic than methylphenidate metabolites-which produce ritalinic acid and methanol..... "

I'm studying physics, and know a fair few organic chemistry majors on a personal basis.

If only the professors knew what you guys were using the machines for, LOL
 
lol I know, GCMS are quite a gold mine to come across and very hard to use or access, but they do actually have special occasions when they will even let illegal drugs be tested; as long as the scope of the testing is purely scientific and in line with either someones thesis or a scientists research.

^ not sure how "legitimate" that would seem to the law enforcement, but its does happen. And more frequently than you would think.
