Heroin missed shot in hand, need adivce ASAP!

So long story shot into my hand today. The big vein in the middle that splits into 2 near the center on the top of my left hand. I drew blood, I didn't really notice the plunger go back with preasure, and I don't think the blood was any redder then usual, but thinking back on it it did seem lighter then normal :/. Any ways nows there's a bumb about the size of a half dollar or smaLler on the top of my hand. It doesn't really hurt at all, its almost just kinda numb or tingley. So what do I do? Did I hit an artery? Should I use ice or heat? I'm a little worried so quick answers would be appreciated. It was a very small shot, just about 5 untits and a small amount of the goods. I was already high so its hard to tell if I felt it a rush or not. Maybe I just missed the shot?

It doesn't sound like you shot into an artery, just that you shot it subcutaneously. Apply heat, massage it, and keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger or it starts to give off heat, go seek medical attention.

sounds like you slipped out mid shot or poked through.

did you get a rush ?

It was only 5 units so you should definitely be alright.

and dont shoot in your hands man its dangerous as fuck. If your out of veins on your forearm there's usually a few good ones on your bicep or the top of your forearm.

or start plugging... MUCH MUCH MUCH safer.

It was such a small shot and I was already somewhat high so I coulldnt really tell if I got a rush. And this is the only time I've shot into my hand and I don't plan to again. I was just curious to see if it worked. I still have plenty of good vein on the crook of my arm and I'm just gonna stick to that. Thanks for your help.

Hey there.

As Venrak said, sounds like you ended up injecting the solution subcutaneously, don't worry too much.

Keep an eye on it, clean the injection site and rub it slowly and lightly every now and again, your body will absorb it, what did the shot contain, out of interest?

It should go down and down, as Venrak said, if it starts to get bigger, itchy, red, inflamed or starts getting hot/giving off heat, go see a Doctor/obtain medical attention.

the shot contained H. A very small amount. I ran it under water for 20 minutes twice last night and it went down almost completly by this morning! It hurts just a little when I put pressure on it but other then that it is much better. Thanks for the help everyone.
