6mg xanax

i've never taken any benzo and i just took two 2mg xanax and am about to snort another 2mg. what should i be feeling pretty soon? i'm a newb when it comes to benzos.
 
You took way too much for a first time. You'll probably pass out and not remember the experience in all honesty if you don't have a tolerance.
 
Don't snort benzos. Pretty sure they don't work nasally (I think). Maybe with others but I don't think Xanax works that way
 
I'm hoping he snorted all that Xanax, so that way all 6mg doesn't get absorbed and he doesn't find himself naked on his living room floor in the morning. :D

Seriously, though, I've read on BL that insufflated benzos actually get you pretty high if you account for the massively lower bioavailability. Even non-water soluble ones like Xanax give some people a rush that is felt too quickly to be accounted for the drip in to the stomach.

This post basically says it all. 6mgs with no tolerance will be enjoyable for about a half hour, until you black out....

....Tomorrow, I'm going to be looking for the thread that says something like "took 6mgs xanax, can't remember anything, and my asshole hurts."

Or something similar to that.
 
I think you're a little late, man. Dude is probably passed out some where, with his house a mess, some shit missing/misplaced, and half naked.

...Or maybe that's just me that has a tendency to strip when I'm blacked out on benzos. *shrugs*
 
The thing with benzos is that a lot of people that are used to opiates will try benzos expecting to feel a similar euphoria, which they will never achieve. I remember the first time I tried xanax someone had given me 5 of the 1mg blue footballs. I started off with 3, expecting to feel euphoric like I did from opiates. When that didn't happen I took the last two, and then my friend drove me out to our friends going away party for everyone leaving for college.

Well, I remember walking into the room where we usually partied, my friend yelling "case races," me getting to beer number 4 really fast, and that's it. There had to have been 3 hours that I was completely blacked out for. I called one of the girls from the party the next day to see if she wanted to get lunch before leaving for school, and she was like "why, you were such an asshole to me last night. You kept giving me the finger and saying fuck you." Yea.... And that's a girl I liked, so I can only imagine what I was saying to other people.

Exactly. You make a very valid point that I had forgotten about, when people are expecting similar effects that opiates produce. & like you said, they never will.

I remember the first time I tried xanax. My friend was just like "it'll make you feel calm, and you'll have an almost drunk feeling." & honestly, I don't remember shit from that night. Just bits and pieces that I got from everybody else.

With xanax though, there's one thing I've come to notice. Regardless of how much you take at once, it always seems like you're never that fucked up. So you keep redosing, trying to get to where you want to be. & by the time you DO get there, you're blacked out doing stupid shit, and still munching on your xannies. But xanax is the only benzo I ever have this problem with. If I take a klonopin or a valium, I know that I'm fucked up. I don't need to keep dosing. Hell, who knows... Maybe it's just me though.

Anybody else ever experience this?

Yea man, I stopped mixing the two, but not after my fair share of blackouts. I stopped doing the follow up too, but every morning that I would wake up wondering wtf happened the night before the worst would be looking at my call history. At first it's like whatever, maybe I just called to meet up or say hi, or just the drunken 'we need to chill soon' but then I would check the duration and it would be like 40 minutes. That's when my heart would sink, because there is no way that anybody can avoid saying something embarrasing for 40 minutes while in that state of mind. When I was away at school I would never eat in the dining halls on Sundays if I blacked out over the weekend and didn't want to face anybody. You need that 1 day buffer of not seeing anyone and collecting your thoughts, so hopefully them not seeing you for a day will help from reminding them of whatever stupid shit you may have done.

In the beginning it was kinda funny, but not anymore. Myself and a few of my friends will look at our text message folders, and if we sent and we just delete them now since we don't even want to know what we wrote ha. My friend used to laugh when I would tell him about what he did the night before while blacked out, but after the first month of it he didn't even want to know what he did anymore.
 
holy shit. so much of this happened. even the part where i made a thread about it and completely forgot i made this one. blacked out. not sure how i did the last xanax probably insulated since i found a straw on the bed the next morning. along with a blunt i apparently rolled in my black out. bahahaha. the part about an opiate user trying to get a rush like that is SPOT on. you guys are geniuses. thanks a lot haha.
 
Yeah, my first time trying benzos, i tried xanax. i took 5 blue footballs (5mg). i was so used at the time to taking 5 lortabs at once so i figured i would get euphoria like opiates did. So i blacked out and snapped out of it 6 hours later.For all of you who have no tolerance to benzos, taking 1mg of xanax/klonopin is PLENTY enough to cause disorientation. Benzos pretty much aren't effectice when snorted. What people are feeling from snorting it is the powder leaking down your throat into your stomach causing a faster onset. Take it orally, effects will be felt within 5-10mins after orally taking xanax anyway. OFF TOPIC---what Benzos can you actually IV? I know its not water soluble, but is there anything u can use to prepare for IV use?
