Could a salvia joint work?

I know salvia can't cherry and if it does you won't get an effect and blahblah. But lets say you roll a fat joint of 50x salvia and hold the lighter to the end as you pull a huge hit, which you would then hold in for the standard amount of time, would it work? I don't see why not.

No.

Me and a friend tried it years ago, you would get abetter buzz smoking some kitchen herbs.

Mint or Parsley were 2 of my favourites. =D

Smoking salvia in a blunt is preferred: burns a bit longer. Either line the whole thing with that and weed, or put "blocks"... always good to see someone's face that rips a big "block" along the way. :D

My personal experience, it does work. But I go gumby / claymation, not paranoid-death-psychedelia.

I used to roll Salvia joints with regular leaf. I think it works fine if you are looking for a relatively milder Salvia experience that you can make last longer because you have a whole joint to smoke.

Sometimes a milder Salvia experience is very enjoyable and leaves you feeling fantastic afterwards. Give it a try, why not?

It does work. Give it a try. It'll come down to personal preference whether you enjoy it more than a bong though, obviously. And don't expect a breakthrough (then again I've never managed to achieve a breakthrough whatever method I've tried. >_<

But why? I don't see any difference between this and taking a bong hit
It doesn't work becuase it doesn't get hot enough with a joint. You will just be waisting product and get nothing more than threashold effects if you use it in a joint. Salvinorin A the active compound in salvia vaporises at a very high temp and it needs to be in a pipe with a lit flame being held against the herb to actualy experience the true effects of the drug.

It does, say again, does work. Obviously it's pretty mild, maybe the op would enjoy that. Don't say it doesn't work, because it's simply not true. Unless everyone who has tried it (including me) are lying. That is unlikely. It's true it may not work for everyone, but salvia's a funny thing.

Once me and some friends put salvia at the end of a roll up (with no filter) and then held a torch lighter flame on it while inhaling, that seemed to work efficiently.

ive smoked a few joints of 3.5x extract (taking in enormous hits and holding them in and smoking it all quickly) and it DOES work. I never tripped out though, just had a strong buzz and felt wobbly, it does leave good after effects for a while too

It works, definitely. You just can't really "breakthrough".

A cigarette cherry burns at a hotter temperature than the surface of the sun. I'm sure that's hot enough to vapourize the Salivinorin A.
