Advice needed on Safe use of Oral Morphine solution please?

Wait at least 40.
60 is better to err on the side of caution...
Shouldn't take more than 15-20 short minutes to feel where you're going ...
and an additional 15-20 to be sure of where you are.

titrate up slowly..until the gold standard of sweet spots has been found!

It's been 1 hour since first dosing and i feel........... err nothing! Well maybe a slightly raised temperature but NO Euphoria and NO Sedation, i think i underdosed.

What do you suggest same again? Another 50mg? More? Less? Questions, questions!! :D

Ok U.K time i took my first 50 mg-ish dose at 20:40.

I then took my second 50 mg-ish dose at 22:20

Its now 22:46 no 22:47 U.K time.... i believe im beginning to feel something...

Update number 3. Its now 23:30 feel more stimulated than anything and very slightly drunk/disorientated feeling, feeling very hungry to (Got the munchies big time infact!)

Doesnt feel at all like any Opiate ive tried before.
Im unsure whether to re-dose or go and get something to eat?

^ Thaaaaats morphine! Yea, you seem to be in the group of people that do not get much euphoria from it. Out of my friends that have done it, 2 love it, and 5 don't care for it. I would only take it if I was in pain, in withdrawal, or desperate and nothing else was around.

Well ive just dosed another 50mg's about 15 minutes ago and i think im gradually getting there.

I know the comparison chart says 30mg Oral Morphine = 20mg Oxycodone but people tell me that because it's metabolised differently and has lower ORAL Bio Availability that its hard to guage properly, but up to now ive taken around approximately 220 - 230mg Oral Morphine which roughly = nearly 160mg Oxycodone.

But when i do Oxy i usually do 160mg+ straight off the bat, so it hits me all at once whereas because tonight was my first ORAL Morphine solution experience i gradually increased my dose over the course of around 7 hours in 4 seperate doses so its a hard one to judge, but let me get one thing straight i am feeling good and as far as tonights experience has gone i would definately say Morphine is enjoyable and it has made me feel far more sociable than the Oxy would have done.

So maybe next time i might try i higher Morphine dose straight off the bat and then i could probably properly compare ORAL Morphine vs ORAL Oxycodone.

Oh and by the way, thanks for being my Wingman/Tripsitter tonight.

but i've had iv morphine in hospital..and had no complaints.
Just a road I'm not going down, personally.

My sincerest apologies, i didnt realise you were female, i should never just 'assume.

And thanks to you i had a safe and enjoyable night. %) And a lot of laughter due to the nature/context of your posts.

Im just shit scared of needles so that's why the IV ROA is a no go for me, im that much of a big baby when it comes to needles that i had my big Sister hold my hand when i had to have a blood test a couple of weeks back, and i also had the Lidocaine/prilocaine anaesthetic cream (ELMA) on my arms yet i still managed to have severe panic attack!

Ive had IV Midazolam once, and that for a hospital procedure (An Endoscopy)
