Omfg, I have fuckin had it! This sob psych "fired" me bc I asked to quit Valium bc it doesn't work for me! I asked for my records and he said no, I wasn't gettin them! I fuckin told him it's the law and he still said I'm not gettin them. I'm fuckin reportin him Monday. I have the right to my med records! God damn it, I'm fuckin pissed!! And he wouldn't give me any meds til I can get a new dr. 14 or more meds and I'm fucked now w/out any. Soonest I can get a new psych to see me is 3 mos :( I'm so fucked!
Sorry to rant guys, I'm fuckin pissed!
 
Why do you have to wait so long? I know it takes a while, but to be suddenly dropped from all care / meds?

honestly getting rid of a psychiatrist is probably the best decision in the world :p

they fill you with druuuuhgs which are bad for you, but hey, gotta live life in the fast lane its always better there, ride or die mADAFUKAAA
 
He says he's droppin me bc I have too much goin on. Wtf?! Seriously? Fuckin idiot!
Anyway, I drive an hr to see this guy. In my lil town we have 1 psych and you have to be in counselin with their agency for a month b4 they'll even refer you to the psych. And then they said his waitin list is 2-3 months long :(

No doubt! I'll smoke some weed ha! Gonna suck with no Xanax or Valium tho...Been on benzos for 4 yrs. Ugh.

you go gurl ;) smoke da reefa all day pal. yeah i was on benzos for the good part of year, withdrawing sucked.... whenever i smoked weed i got all paranoid and scared but when it ended weed has never been so sweet =D

are you gonna taper down from the benzos? hows it going?
 
Baby - that situation sounds awful! I'm sorry you have to go through that. But a Benzo taper is definitely suggested. Its even worth going to see a regular doctor, not a psych, and explaining your situation. Tell them that you want to set up a benzo taper. Cutting you off cold turkey is a poor decision, they should know better. Benzo wd can be fatal if quit cold turkey.
 
I always said this psych was an ass, he just reinforced what I've been thinkin today. I think he got pissy bc when he said he wants me on Valium I told him they do not work! Then I said, to his snide "I'm the dr" remark, that obviously not a very good one bc he won't listen to me and except for benzos has had me on EVERYTHING in the past 9 years and I never feel good!
Anyway, no he's not taperin me. I know this is dangerous for me and irresponsible for him. I'm callin my fam doc Monday but I'm not too hopeful there bc I tried gettin him to help me last month bc this psych is an ass. My fam dr only gave me Vistaril :/ Fuckin really?
I'm bout to call our atty Monday since he's refusin to give me my record. If I have any health issues bc of quittin everything in one day I WILL sue his ass for negligence.
 
Wait, so he is just cutting you off from all your benzo scripts?

Please, tell us exactly what you have been prescribed (benzo wise) and what you are currently prescribed (benzo wise).

Also, tell us how long you have been taking those benzos, how often you have been taking them and at what doses you have been taking them.

We can't help you without this information ^

he literally cannot do that. he's risking your life quite frankly and being irresponsible. what are his reasons behind why he is stopping your treatment?
 
right, i'm sick of this, i have taken methylphendiate for 3 days in a row now and the euphoria is gone. just gone. how do i get it back? i just re-dosed another 75mg after taking 50mg an hour or two ago. bah.

Yep, cold turkey :/
I started in summer if 2008 on Ativan. Within 3 months I was switched to Xanax and was on that alone, 5 mgs/day, until this year when he added Valium, 5 mgs mornin & 10 mgs at night with the Xanax 2 mg twice a day & 1 mg at bedtime. I ran out this week of benzos but was hopin today would be ok so I didn't have wd, so far so good...
What about Ambien, Trazodone, Effexor XR, Neurontin? Will I have wd's from these?
Of course my MAIN worry us no benzos :(

He seemed ok until I told him how bad my panic is, I'm developin agoraphobia again and I told him the Xanax is too fast (doesn't work good for long term control). I also told him I feel no difference from the Valium. He started gettin pissy and said well we already tried everything. I asked about Klonopin bc it's faster than Valium but has a decent "life" to it. He tried tellin me I was already on it. I told him he was mistaken. He pulled the I'm the dr bs and I stood up for myself. I told him he may very well be but that doesn't mean I don't know my body. I told him to look through my med sheet, I'd wait. I'm not, and never have been, on Klonopins. Well, he said I'm not gonna see you anymore bc there's "too much" goin on. WTF?! After he refused to give me a momth or two of meds and said I couldn't have my records I fuckin went OFF. Pussy called the cops lol. Oh well, shit happens :/
 
Ah haha, I just called drs and told them accordin to the Department of Health & Human Services and I have a right, at resonable cost, to have copies of my medical records.. They're mailin 'em now they said. Yeah fuckers, thought so. Now I got another number to call & report him endin my care/meds with no advance notice.
Boy, imma have a field day with this fucker!

My retarded ass forgot to drink enough water on d-methamphetamine

Now I'm suffering the consequences of mild hyperthermia (100.3F)

(which I brought down to 99.6F within 30 minutes)

Ohh.. So, dr's wife called me. They're callin me in two months supply of ALL meds. She also said the reason he said no to my records is bc they released it one time and supposedly the person committed suicide so they go through them now to take out any note which might cause the patient harm.
Dear God, it took FOREVER to write this post. I need a smoke..
 
I got a nice cocktail of druhhgz going on: 5-IAI + K + 4mg alprazolam + gabapentin + marijuana. Still feel like I'm coming up, WOW... haha. I'm about to hangout with my girl, this is about to be interesting uh oh
