I just had amphetamine 'base' that gelled and looked like sperm when added to water, so I added ascorbic acid to the solution until it was clear. It was still, however, slightly viscous. I proceed to inject said solution, but am now worried what'll happen once inside my veins - I mean, will it stay in solution or did I just do something really stupid and should I go running to the ER?
 
Well, what dissolved will stay dissolved. But I'm worried about what didn't dissolve. That is what will make your arms fall off!
 
Honestly guys...if you IV and your shit gels. Fuck it off and can it. I think you'll be OK but seriously do NOT do that shit ever again. Think about your arms bud. I know it sucks when someone gives you dirt shit but when they do trash it or---Just Dont IV it!!! Again Honestly who knows. I left a IV in my drawer a year back for so long..it was some dope that gelld up...the gel was still gelly inside the rig 8months later. I saw a few people shoot the shit so If they are still alive,which I have No Idea, You are more than likely OK. ANY signs of pain or Any discoloration I would go to an ER. I dont know what you could say but you wont get arrested for using drugs just dont bring SHIT with you.

Yeah, thanks bud. Two hours later and I think I'll be OK in the immediate term. Just got a whole range of potential pulmonary complications to worry about, now.

I'm about ready to shit can the needle. I mean I know it's boss and I'll probably never be cool again, but I've just been too lucky these past couple of years. I've been trying to replace an IV heroin habit with an IV speed habit, which is a bad idea in itself.
 
Damn you all lets chill out n try to help the guy... A trip to the ER would prob be your safest bet but if u dont want to do that then maybe a blood thinner of some sorts to keep evedything flowing but thats just a guess. If anyone thinks that's a bad idea please say so and explain.

And on this topic, yes ur amph was a gel and u made it a liquid but if it gelled at all again in ur veins it cud easily cause a clot. Anyways I'm not tryna argue just stay safe man, that's all :)

And yea as that guy above posted, maybe grab some aspirin.
 
Yeah, if everyone can please try to maintain a more civil fucking tone, it would be much appreciated.. This forum is here with the purpose of reducing harm. Calling people names and flaming them is not helpful in the least.

As for the OP, we cannot offer you medical advice, but like others have said-do not do this again. Just because you're okay now does not mean that you'll be safe the next time around.
 
In something kind of related, I used to IV speedballs. One day, after already fixing, I could only find Adderall IR 30 mgs.

Still have a soft spot in the middle of the top of my forearm and I honestly think that vein is permanently ruined. It got really red and was tender for a day or too.

Like they said, avoid in the future.
 
IV use carries risks, even if form is perfect. When in doubt, eat that shit, always. Why take the risk when it comes to direct administration?

It's your body, man, you have to take care of it.
 
Why wuold you inject gel into your veins? Some of the things people do man. I've did it ONCE with a MS Contin pil land would NEVER again. Atleast if you want to keep your limbs I wouldn't That guy isn't trolling you, hes being honest.
 
Yeah, I ain't trolling. Even though there's a rather small chance your hands will fall off from a single fucked-up injection like that. There is a chance. And this chance increases with every subsequent injection.
But even if that chance was super tiny, which it isn't (quite often that people have had this shit happen from the first injection), still would not be worth it. Losing your limbs is one of the most horrible things that can happen to someone. Not to mention the pain. But fuck the pain, your life will be ruined!
