@yucatanboy barcelona is awesome, but a bit too touristy for me. next time, go see madrid :) and dont go calling locals spaniards, they re catalans!!

NKB, youre getting really good at these haikus :)

WTF weak, I feel asleep 4 hours into the 2c-p experience (from my last dose [~10mg vaped over two and half hours; so 6 hours in]). I'm really disappointed. Oh well, it looks like I have enough for another experience and I still have about 20mg of 25I-NBOMe. Maybe I should take a little 2c-p with the 25I (3mg vaped 2c-p and 400ug 25I-NBOMe. The 25I is actually pretty damn interesting, like it so far from the one experience with 250ug internasal (initially, than added another 125ug + 5 hours in). Felt real smooth and not like I had that terrible phenethylamine bodyload that can exist.

^ If you just wrote that, you're a genius. :D

I gave 4-AcO-DMT fumarate a whirl today, at 16 mg nasally, in staggered bumps. Was really nice, reminded me a lot of 4-AcO-DPT, but smoother and less... frenzied. Less hectic. Also definitely had the unique, mysteriously magically mystical quality of DMT.

I'll have to try it when I'm not feeling horribly depressed. Might be able to get a better feel for it that way. :D

I actually don't find it very difficult to fall asleep on the 2C-x drugs if I'm tired, so I avoid them unless I'm freshly rested and completely awake (though I generally do this with psychedelics anyway). Strange, because they are very stimulating for me, but they never prevent me sleeping - while something like 4-AcO-DMT that actually feels quite sedating leaves me completely unable to sleep until a good hour or two after I reach baseline.

how the hell did you fall asleep on 2c-p

vaped must be really different from oral

Did you find yourself just not getting tired at all or just unable to sleep when tired? It's odd because 2C-P is the only psychedelic I've ever managed to sleep on, although it wasn't a great sleep, it was more so like blacking out for what felt like a second but was actually an hour or so. I couldn't sleep for long periods of time either and it didn't feel anywhere near as refreshing as a normal sleep. But it was sleep and even more interesting as it was the only psychedelic I've taken that I've been able to sleep on.

Although, the other 2cs are much more stimulating and I wouldn't expect to sleep on them. It was more so 2C-P's long duration and lack of amphetamine side that contributed to it.

Am I the only one who gets incredibly increased tactile sensations when tired? Often when I'm tired I'll honestly just sit there for 30 minutes rubbing my arms because it feels like I'm on an entactogen. Could it be somewhat related to serotonin? (for reference, my diet features a lot of cheese and other tryptophan-high foods, so maybe that's related)

I googled it and couldn't find any information whatsoever, and I've never heard anyone else mentioning experiencing the same thing, so I'm curious.

feeling good and a day booked off work tomorrow... time for a cheeky celebratory valium and some vodka =D and maybe a few lines of MXE later. quite in the mood for glowing for a few days after

Thought I'd ask this here rather than make a new thread.

Has anyone any experience with holding DMT for 8-12 months and potency loss? I've had about 50mg saved here for a breakthrough, but just never really came across the opportunity to take it. Keep forgetting really, I've heard of potency loss in DMT when stored so I'm wondering should I expect any? It's been stored in a baggie, in a dark place as usual.

i have some DMT ive been holding onto for years and last time i tried it, probably 6 months ago, it was still good. Maybe a slight loss in potency and it definitely became a darker color but was very active. Just take the necessary precautions when storing it and it should be fine for when you choose to use it.

No I get it too, I thought everybody got it. I'm sure people just don't pay any attention to it... I think it comes from being relaxed

Hehe I thoguht of it in the shower earlier that day. It actually only took less than 10 minutes, but I needed that last line ;)

I do suck at poetry in general though, but I read a certain quote from the physicist Paul Dirac that really made me want to take a class in poetry at some time. He said "The aim of science is to make difficult things understandable in a simpler way; the aim of poetry is to state simple things in an incomprehensible way. The two are incompatible.". It really resonated with me. :)

I have really been wanting to try dpt lately it sounds amazing from all the research I have done on it. I regret not getting it with my last package I ordered. I have been going through allot of hell in my lately in my life and a nice strong trip might be just what I need to sort shit out. It has worked for me in the past on multiple ocastions when I was going through rough times. Although there is the risk of a bad trip I have found from my personal experience it has always been the bad trips that taught me the most.

^ I would recommend 4-AcO-DMT to sort your life out. I've messed with DPT -- it's a great compound, but a bit too short-acting for a thoughtful, introspective trip. It's more like a DMT blastoff -- crazy, but over before you really even had time to think. Unless, of course, you snort it (eaughhgh, do not recommend), inject it (do not recommend injecting research chemicals), or eat it with an MAOI (could be valuable, but requires a lot of DPT, and hence is pricey).

On the other hand I spent the last couple days tripping on 4-AcO-DMT, and found it to provide a much-needed reality check. I did a lot of valuable thinking over the course of those trips. So far it's the best chemical I've sampled for this purpose.

How're you liking those Dead shows Appleman? :)

I don't know, I think I would have to respectfully disagree with Dr. Dirac. The goal of poetry is to find a way to say things that can't be said any other way, and in that facet science and poetry are really just two different permutations of the same phenomenon. To quote Bukowski: "Words, not as precious things but necessary things".

I feel that sense of urgent necessity for esoteric communication with respect to certain scientific pursuits, namely organic chemistry (which actually has more in common with music, IMHO, than it does with other scientific pursuits such as physics. It's a precise scientific pursuit, as well as a high art with virtually endless room for mastery within a system that is not purely mathematical but based upon higher order processes with corresponding emergent phenomena; but that's another conversation entirely). The feeling of necessity isn't easily put into words, but its something to the effect of "I recognize the beauty/complexity/importance/etc in this phenomenon and I need a way to communicate that to people via a medium that will elicit same level of deep awe and appreciation."

:)
