To louise, I hope ur right about that new batch landing but I've not had anything at all for a good 4 days now. It was so bad I'd rather take my meth. In fact, I got some weed and some cheap plonk and the buzz is loads better than the shit I had the last couple of times. I had this lad tell me that there was "wiked gear" so I tried it and it sucked so bad! And this is about the 5th or 6th time he's said it was good stuff and to buy it - every time it's been fucking shit. What's with the self delusion?

most prisons give you your script nowadays so don't worry about detoxing... girl i know in right now gets her methodone and clonazepam same dose as on the out. good luck anyway... have been readin the heroin topics since the first one so know your predicament.

on topic I sampled some gear brought down from london the other day and was pissed i only got a small sample about a fivers worth as it was legit gear.
 
Great post Steve - you're dead right about the sense of not being alone that comes from this thread. There are so many different types of user and a multitude of varying behaviours associated with it that yes, I'm afraid Godspeed that your post does sound somewhat ignorant. No t an insult at all, you're just not on point from a lack of direct experience. A "junkie's lifestyle" is not one thing that unites us all. There are obvious similarities and folks involved all share a set of rituals, dissapointments, surprises and struggles but the nature of them all can be hugely variant.

In the same way that those who drink on a regular basis do so in totally different ways with a varied attached meaning to alcohol in each case. I was always told that when you relapse you pretty much return to the level of use you were at when you gave up but this has never occured to me. I have the odd indulgence and have what I'd call a 'baby' habit - yes I get physical and mental withdrawals if I stop but this can be allieviated with just 90mg of DHC so it ain't nothing compared to banging between 1 - 1.5g each day of very good london H back in 2004. There really is no wish or even fantasy of going back to that as it just completely fucked up the enjoyment of smack. The law of diminishing returns I guess.
 
Hi all. I've not logged on for a while and am amazed to see this thread still going! i've been getting pretty bang on gear for months now, the only problem being that the price has gone up and seems to be staying that way - i'm having to pay 20 for 0.2, which seems to be way more than many of you are paying. Still, I guess thats the problem with living in a small town.....

Well all my guys are doing it a fiver a point which would be a great price if it wasnt just a load of wank dust
 
Yeah, I suppose you gotta pay for quality. But it still pisses me off that the 20 bags I'm buying now are really only worth a tenner. When you think about it, I'm basically paying 100 on a g. And considering the amount my dealer buys then he's fucking raking it in (though it all goes up the tube).
 
I'd be well happy to pay £10 a point so long as it isn't complete bollocks.
 
I've often debated if it's better to have a dealer that uses himself rather than someone who's 'only in it for the money'. There are advantages and disadvantages to both I suppose - if your dealer uses himself then you're probably more likely to get better gear. On the other hand, if your dealer doesn't use then you might get a better deal because they want to maximise their profits while undercutting the competition. The biggest problem with this is they don't know the quality of the gear.
 
Been paying a tenner a point or even less than a point for ages BUT its proper gear- its that 2 tier system where you can but the equivelent of soap bar heroin cheap or manali for stoopid money.

Yeh same thing happened with pills a couple of years ago when all those piperazine tablets were flying around

still one single person that i know in edinburgh with the real at pd prices,to be honest im amazed cos all the rest is absolute shit.and oxynorm im sorry,the answer is no way,im sorry.
 
So I scored from NW Brum today and the report is that it's still pretty shite. Not the total dog shit shite that I got last time but a shite that does contain at least a modicum of heroin. I give it 5/10 so yeah, average at best.

Where has all this bloody bumper harvest fucking gone? They'll be starting to harvest this fucking years' crop real soon (May in some places I believe)! It has to have gone somewhere hasn't it? If it is going to the near neighbours of Afghanistan then that would mean that the heroin use in those countries has had to have trebled (as a wild guess) because previously there was comfortably enough production for the whole of Europe. Now we're getting mainly shit, I'd guess the supply is a third of what it was 18 months ago (optimistically), which would mean that there would have to be a MASSIVE amount getting diverted. Even after 60% increases in production (after an albeit awful year before) we are seeing little improvement. I think it's set to be up a similar amount this year again so I don't think the heroin usage in Afghanistan's neighbouring countries can have increased this hugely to account for it. It'd mean 4 or 5 times (guessing again admittedly) the number of users in just a year or two!

I'm on a mission to find out where all of my smack has bloody well got to!

Hi F.U.B.A.R!!! :) Great to see you back on Bluelight again!!! :) Lucky you getting good gear the last few months, things are as bad as ever in Dublin, the place is flooded with weak crappy gear! There seems to be plenty of good spots for gear in the UK lately.

I wouldn't mind paying over the odds if i was sure i was getting proper gear! Things are so bad in Dublin that most dealers have actually dropped the price of their gear! That just shows how weak it is! Out of 5 people i know who are selling gear 4 of them have dropped the price, & the other one is just a miserable bastard who is still charging full price for the same old crap gear!

Most people in Dublin have stopped scoring, anyone on methadone just doesn't bother with it. The Doctor in my clinic said he has never seen so many of his patients clean at the one time! So dealers are trying to entice people back by dropping the price! So i know things won't get any better here till the price goes up like it did in he UK. The chances of us getting proper gear in Ireland at a reduced price while everyone in the UK is paying double is zero, so i'm still playing the waiting game!

Its really nice to see you back on Bluelight F.U.B.A.R, as you see the thread is still running. Everyone knows each other quite well at this stage so the thread has been kept going with chit-chat! Or in my case moaning coz i still can't get decent gear! 8(

@Kat, how are you to-day kat? How did you get on in he dentist? I hope it wasn't too painful?! I'm a real scary-cat when it comes to the dentist!!! Ouch!!!! I hope your feeling ok. If i don't get to talk to you to-night then i'll talk to you tomorrow! I'll log into Bluelight at 9pm tomorrow night, if that time doesn't suit then just say when, i'm always up late these days. My hours are cut right back in work which is a nightmare :( But i means that i stay up much later most nights now.

I know Hooks, there has to be something well dodge going on! :sus: The thing that i find the strangest is the fact that heroin has been more or less wiped out of Ireland & yet it is not been reported in newspapers or the news. Even my Doctor is totally surprised at the figures of how many people have gotten clean in my clinic & yet no one is reporting on it? There has been a war on drugs for years, so if they are winning the war against heroin then why are they not boasting about it? Wouldn't you think heroin been wiped out of a whole country for 18 months is big news? There is something strange going on........

The same goes for the UK, some people are getting good but there are still a lot of people who are not, so is that not big news? GURrrrr.... i wish i knew what is going on? I don't believe that whole story about a poppy blight, whoever came up with that story must have thought that all heroin users would get pissed off & move on & forget about gear!!! But that is not the case, oh no.......

There is something very strange going on, none of it makes sense! :sus: Its doing my head in not knowing! I would love to know why its been kept such a big secret....... :?
 
Going totally off topic where about in dubs are you ructions? My moms from Coolock and i used to spend alot of time them sides. Since my gramps passed on most of my family live a bit further north, my aunt lives on the applewood estate in swords and my cuzzies are living in Malahide now after moving from Portmarnock. We still have a little holiday home in Donabate which we used to use to session whenever i was over but im not sure whether or not its still fit for purpose - last time i was up for there was to do a rattle about 6 years ago hehehe. I went over to the hospital at Portrane and played my face pretending i was on holiday with a severe mental illness who'd forgotten there meds so i could blag a clonazepam script off them. Worked a treat, got 56 2mg tablets for about 4 euro and got clean.

I was back on the gear within 6 hours of getting back to the Uk tho, as to be honest im a bit of a prick
