I am sure this has been done before, but blehh if not this should be interesting.

A few days ago, I was watching something on the History Channel about the Anti-Christ. According to some are more than one Anti Christ, in fact there were three, each setting the way for the next. Now I am not going to go to deep into it, but supposedly Napolean was one, Hitler was another, and the third is..well currently unknown. But with this day and age can civilized, technology advanced, and open minded societies ever fall prey to another Anti Christ? I do not think another Hitler would ever be possible. If you were to ever be tricked by an Anti Christ into following the evil.. What would he or she need to be able to get across to you. In other words; what would it take to fall under his control?

Nein I dont think something like Hitler wont happen again in the same abrupt violent force.

"It" would of had to of taken more a slow subtle leak of corruption, personally.

WHAT if...the Anti-Christ was a body of knowledge that was the opposite of the word and work of Christ?

Oh the anti-Christ... Christianity's boogey man. Every generation someone is being accused of being one, just like every generation has its sure-fire apocalypses that never end up happening. The whole good/evil paradigm is so tired. There is no Satan and there is no Hell. In the Old Testament, Hell is simply the absence of God. In other words, when you deny God from your life, you live in Hell. That's it. No fire, no brimstone, nothing. Everyone is inherently good and everyone gets into heaven - no exceptions. Even the worst of the worst (as humans) get into heaven (as souls).

You make heaven or hell right in the here and now depending on your own perceptions. No waiting!

As for the anti-Christ... there have been plenty of horrible atrocities already committed by people, most of them unimaginable. You can take any given dictator or key player in those events and suggest they were the anti-Christ for tipping the scales toward suffering and chaos; but the truth is that they were human, just like you and I. The idea of an anti-Christ keeps you a fearful customer of the Church. If Jesus didn't talk about an anti-Christ then I don't care what some fanatic said 200 years later about it. Having a Christ and an anti-Christ was some poor sap's inevitable analogy to good and evil. If Christ is pure good, then surely there must be a character representing pure evil, right? Every story's gotta have one, even Hollywood knows this!

These opposing forces DO NOT EXIST. It's a false duality that enslaves billions of people's minds. You are with God right now. The connection is always there. You don't go to heaven when you die, you are one with divinity this very moment. You're already perfect and worthy.

Actually, we are evolved bacteria. Not gods and not divine.

By the way, I am not a christian, I am a satanist, but a true satanist does not believe in heaven or hell, or punishment in the after life. Life is our heaven and hell. I dont think a god created us, i think we are either "evolved bacteria" or maybe even a species created by an advanced alien race., but what I am getting at here is that their are truly evil people out there. I used the term anti christ in order to desribe a person who can influence in such a manner that they can be only described as anti-christ.

Who knows, the universe is so vast. For all we know there may be pockets of populated worlds and galaxies that we have yet to discover. Maybe the basic building blocks for life are manufactured and spread out threw out the universe like pollen, and seeds in the winds here on Earth. The point I am trying to make is that the universe is far to big to give one "bieng" credit.

I see what you did there; a snake charmer and I like it. It is an enveloping thought, that should at least bring a new sense of self awareness amongst everything if anything.

It's gonna be a robot's anti-christ and he's already pumping your mind full of his jism as we speak.
 
Technology and the sciences came to existence only to make our lives more easy, in great part by the people who saved the purity of faith and spirituality; and our asses for the time being.The vastness of the practicalities and implications of those schools of thought became further leverage for selfish enterprise. There is more then the science, physics and elements we know of in the infinite, but our un willingness to accept what we see as face value, and believe that what we are shown is all there is to feel a sort of confidence is what keeps us kept comfortable - a mans idol becomes a figurative extension of himself, our ancestors and founding fathers I imagine must roll in their graves with the knowledge of how we oblige to anothers word as proof to not think for ourselves.
 
What do you think about the "peak-oil" situation? It seems VERY logical that the huge population boom was directly correlated to this massive supply of fossil fuels, and that, with this ridiculous growth, there's gotta be a crash at some point as the logistics change to less favorable ones. People like to pretend that solar power is going to solve everything, and maybe eventually it will, but as it stands right now there's bound to be a large dip in the population in the medium-near future once the wells run dry. Coinciding with that dip is bound to be a continuation of computing power and a further creep of robotic devices that take the place of human jobs.

I'm just saying, what's the "anti-christ" supposed to do, exactly? Kill a huge amount of people? What if our own progress is the anti-christ? Thus the jism of the new robot devil is already pumping through our collective minds, planting its seeds of contentedness and laziness.

Technology is great, but exclusive technology with the intent of dividing and conquering and feeding certain people's greed, is what always allows for one group to subjugate another. "Sometimes when Satan comes, he comes as a man of peace." Bob Dylan.

interestingly no mention of the bible in this thread, unless i skimmed it. and i do mean interesting, not in a derogatory sense.
backing up to include the fundamentals, if there is to be a coming of anti-Christ, it will not be in recognizable form, according to in the Bible. it will be in the form of love and endearment, and we will all be drawn to it. it will present itself in ways that to our common sense will appear to be opposite of what we would expect. we will be cheering it on, believeing it to be what it shows us = love and honor and goodness and all that jazz. when the souls on this earth whose hearts true and definitley belong to Christ are awakened to the truth, the whole of us will be in...DEEP in and beyond confused. immediate decisions will be required amidst terrorizing chaos... there's more but - while i am am a believing Christian i'm not a bible thumper 8( , far from it. anyway having said all that, i also feel it's true that evil is here, presently, in the world, running the streets, and running many lives. i imagine the leader of evil blowing on the heads off dandelions, spreading despair and hatred on the wind - much like the way PIRATES mentioned earlier in different context. there is always a revolution in the works- this one in particular, as are many others - is spawned of revenge, and revenge can lie in wait planning and plotting and prepping the battlefield. evil takes a man at a a time, or a clan at a time. it is opportunistic, and angry and anxious, and yet somehow patient. but even if this entire post is a rambling wagon of bullshit - you have to admit - whatever evil IS - it is Not INVISIBLE. if you're willing and open to seeing it, look around. you may find it uncomfortably close to you! ..... BOO!! :sus:
