Why it doesn't matter if you overheat injectable filler found in drugs

Some individuals on this forum suggest overheating drugs with filler should not be done because it dissolves more of the sugars, or whatever crap is in street drugs. This doesn't make any sense as you still wind up injecting all of the mixture found in your cooker and no differences in heating cause more or less of filler to be dissolved.

You still find yourself injecting all of it, dissolved to whatever degree. Why is the claim that overheating is bad not rejected?

^ the idea is you filter it and anything not dissolved is filtered out. If you use a micron filter (as you always should when heating pills) then most (insoluble) filler/binder will be removed from your shot. If you heat it, however, any filler/binder which dissolves in the hot water will not be removed by the filter. It can damage veins and lodge in your lungs causing a lung disease called pneumiconiosis/talcosis, which is progressive and irreversible.

Micron filtering info
, evidence for micron filters and IV megathread :)

You always need to filter, whatever you are shooting, to remove insoluble particles but micron filters are the best and essential for pills.

If it doesn't dissolve = stays solid = gets filtered out with micron filter .

Not sure what you were thinking while making this thread op lol obviously people aren't gonna be Iving any solids

You shouldn't really be "cooking" anything. Why even have a "cooker". I have never had, or used such a device.

The drugs you are injecting should be salts, and thus should dissolve in water at room temp.

It seems you are frustrated with people telling you that you shouldn't heat up the drugs, instead of being focused in harm reduction. Heating pills is a bad idea.

What pills are you shooting that you need to heat in order to dissolve the active ingredient?

Brown heroin which doesn't dissolve at all. And I add acid to the mix.

I'm talking about lactose which melts and gets inside your syringe. Of course particulates won't pass a micron filter but they will also not be dissolved.
