I contemplated a back sack and crack for a while, then I read a thread on another forum where some guy had had his crack waxed and apparently it just turns it into an itchy slip and slide LOL. My wife plucked my shoulders because she hates the fur, but it just comes back twice as bad and itches like a cunt for days.

Pluck? Hahahaha!! Fuck that like get the razor out, even then it's a pain in the ass, as you say comes back twice as bad and is itchy. Do it now and again if I know I'm getting a dynamite ride the next day

Ah, as sam pointed out I know a little of endurance.

The army instructors used to either ran us til will were sick or give us circuit training til you get that high as a kite feeling.

Could do with a bit of that now my belly is not quite as flat as I would like :(

Did your PT instructors give it the old "there's only 2 speeds, fast and FASTER!!!"? When I was in college I made my bench mark the fitness level required to get into the Marines. A guy at cadets managed to pass at 16, and he did the final 30 mile run on a broken ankle! He's in the SBS now :D

Heroin and speed > bulk.

For what is a prat?
What has he got?
When he wears hats
And he cannot
Say the words
He truly feels
But only the words
Of one who kneels

Much love, SHM. :)

Much love, SHM. :)

No. You're being a cunt but using the Ismene tactic of saying something wanky at the end like 'much love' or leaving a smiley. Or both, because you're a bit insecure.

'Man up' you twat. Let's see them pics of you in a dress. Or do you just 'play' at everything?

You fool no-one.

EDIT Unless I'm wrong and it's yourself you're seeing as Vicious. In which case I apologize but still might suggest a little less self-beating and some more (well, some) pics of you in a dress.

Much love etc. SHM.

The cunts trick was after a ten mile run in full kit we would see the wagon to take us home.

As soon as we got close to it the twats would drive off and stop again about a mile away. This would carry on several times.

Cunts trick but it showed you how much you've still got in the tank when you think you've reached the finish line

Hahaha, I love shit like that. Did you do the special training where you stay awake for like 6 days digging trenches? I really enjoyed the beasting/hazing too, it was a laugh. I don't know where you draw the line though.

badass training, hats off to people who go through shit like that. serious fitness at the end of it all, must feel like a machine. would be awesome to be that fit

Yea, you'd get about an hour a day nodding off and wake you up with a thunderflash!

Worse thing I ever did was a force march in full NBC suit wearing respirators. When we reached our harbour area we'd have to do all round protection still suited up.

I swear no psychedelics could come close to the shit I could dancing about in the night after that.

I do miss that level of fitness, it kinda makes you feel high all the time if you know what I mean.

As for field defences I was an engineer so it was blisters on blisters.

Thanks mate, just wish they'd concentrate on our mental fitness more when we leave instead of leaving it to charities to try and put us back together.

But yea at the time it's 10 foot tall shit :)

fascinating missing old pills, so much respect for that. yeah the mental aspect of what some of you guys go through is incredible. seen a lot of docs and stuff, not enough support, needs to be more done. always been interested in millitary stuff, war history, all kinds of shit, was gonna join the marines when i was younger but decided against it, n the older ive gotten the more i see stuff like war n crap as being unnecessary money spinning bullshit, we should all get along n love each other otherwise we're gonna destroy this little planet. but would like to be that fit, would be wicked

Good to see this thread still going strong.

Nice rest day today, back to the grind tommorow.

Do you have any pics of when you was in the the army youd like to share with us all Mopster...

I have never heard of muscle sacks...

Muscles are indeed in a type of sack caled fascia. I've heard of people who run long distances having problems with certain bands of muscles swelling and being consticted by the fascia causing crippling camp like pain. Could be bollocks though. Could be cramp ;)

This isnt posted to brag, or be brash - I've just I've worked hard to get this far, and im pleased. This is 2 months in, and my aim is to be a little bigger, with definition. Right now, there is nothing that can make me feel better, both mentally and physically, than my exercise time. It's the only time that I dont have a million and one things racing round my head. The only time I can absolutely, and totally switch off.

I knew about muscle fascias but I have never thought of them as sacks. I thought fascia tissue was just responsible for connecting one muscle to the next? Is the pain you're describing similar to shin splints? They really suck.
