so i took 30 valiums today with 400mg of codeine with GFJ.
now i only feel slightly relaxed even though i only take it a few times a month. not addiction doesnt bother me. cuz ive been doing the same thing for years & cant afford to take it every day nor will i ever.
i only like to take it now & than & im serious.

Now i was talking to a pharmacist & she says it can hurt ya liver & fuck up ya white blood cells. can someone find me a source with info about damage from abuse. (well i wouldnt call it abuse because i barely feel anything) but anyway...

im sure theres alot of ppl who take high doses of benzos. im concerned about my liver. ive never got any side effects or anything. im just looking to find some knowledge. thanks.

I've been taking Valium regularly on and off for about 2-3 years an at times have approached the dose you are talking about (I'm assuming 10mgs tabs)

Due to alcohol issues I've also had a fair amount of blood work done and have no problems with my forgiving liver :)

Just a quick hunt round would suggest that if you have an existing Liver problem Valium is best avoided but I can;t find any suggestion that Valium does anything specific to you liver, although, of course we must be putting extra strain on liver and kidneys when we ingest large amounts of drugs, they all have to be processed.

It seems if you liver is not so good that you don't process Valium very well but that's about it, unless someone more learned would like to provide more info.

I took 120mg of valium a day, with 12mg alprazolam a day and 2mg flunitrazepam for at least a year.

My liver is fine.

May I congratulate you on such an epic Benzo habit, although I'm guessing you can't remember much of it;)

How long did the taper take in total, I'm pretty sure you Benzo free these days ? (sorry off topic but interested)

I have never once in my career working in a critical care unit seen a patient with fulminant hepatitis from benzo abuse. That said, if you have a liver disorder you should not abuse or use any substance that a physician, nurse or pharmacist has not told you take. Its not worth it; no high is worth the phenomenal suffering of acute liver failure.

tripman it's good to see u'r liver is fine that makes me feel better as i only dose high amounts a few times a month.
they were 5mg tabs by the was. i should have just said 150mg. with GFJ & codeine.
btw i tried taking almost twice as much codeine the other day & it felt twice as strong. maybe cuz i was tired. but it felt really relaxing & it was almost as good as oxy. different thread talk though.
so i should be safe to occasionally take vals?
I also take temaz sometimes from 150mg-300mg.
