Opioids Drug delivery with Nebulizer

If you are wasting drugs in a nebulizer then you have far to much money so feel free to send some my way. This would be one of the most ineffective methods of injesting anything, I cant see you getting even 20% of said drug via this method. This is either a wild stoner theory or you are very new to drugs.

What experience can you share? Shed some light on the subject, why would it not be effective? Certainly not new to drugs, and marijuana has nothing to do with this.
 
Can you imagine how inefficient this would be with a drug someone actually needed? No wonder they don't use these things to deliver albuterol. No wonder big pharma is investigating nebulized drug delivery for hydro and oxymorphone.

I am convinced that if you are dissing on this, you don't know shit. I did research at the US patent office, combined with press releases of big pharma and the fda, some venture capital and safe harbor statements, and in all that research, I decided it might not be commercially viable yet, but it does work and will be marketed some day.
 
With the current nebulizers only 10% reaches the lungs, most of the drug is deposited in the mouth, if it works it's because the drug is absorbed in the oral mucosa. With albuterol and steroids the local effect in the lungs outweighs the low bioavailability.

I think it has potential, but there are many problems, like noise, bulkiness, time it takes to nebulize. It might take decades before we see something like "neuroin".

When you consider that your average epi inhaler just needs the epi replaced with freebase heroin and you are there.

Those epinephrine inhalers only deliver 10% to the lungs, verses at least 40% that's delivered smoking heroin base. Same with any inhaler, aerosol or dry powder.And most inhaled drugs are dosed at under 1mg, versus tens, even hundred of millgrams for heroin. Look at exubera(inhaled insulin), they had to use such high doses of insulin that it was cost prohibited. The failure of exubera seems to have made the drug industry reluctant to invest in this ROA.

Getting the drugs into the lungs without vaporization is more complicated than it might seem.The partical size and aerodynamics has to be right. There is experiment inhalers like AREx with a special nozzle and Afrezza which uses special technospheres to impreganate the drug onto. Both have pretty decent bioavailability. Compounding pills or street drugs for these inhalers is probably beyond the ability of most drug users.

A glass dick or foil is cheap, simple and effective. It's really hard to beat vaporization in inhaled drug delivery.
 
But I'll bet the health benefits of a nebulizer far outweigh that of vaporization of certain compounds, like methamp, or most pharma opiates. It is incredibly unhealthy for people to attempt and vaporize their pills.

For example, if we had 1mg in pure liquid oxymorphone, if a nebulizer gets at least 10% drug delivery, that's on par with oral dosing of oxymorphone.

yea but if you had that solution you could safely boot it
 
I'd bet oxy/(hydro)morphone, the fentanyls and RCs like the DOxs or the 2c-x-NBOMe would work pretty good in a nebulizer, but mostly due to absorbtion in the mouth. What's delivered to the lungs would be a bonus. It probably still be better for some drug than oral or sublingual if you use a good nebulizer. Maybe it'd be better to breath it in from the nose, so it'd be like intranasal and inhaled at the same time.

Cocaine might work too in a nebulizer. I wonder what a dry powder inhaler with micronized coke would be like?
 
Very interesting thread...nice break from reading up on chronic pain for the umpteenth time...and what the fuck? My browser recognizes umpteenth as a word, but not hydromorphone? w/e lmao...

albeit it does me no good as I can only ever get morphine anyway, but it's still very, very interesting....lmfao...I can't wait until all the tweakers start carrying around nebulizers instead of pipes rolled up in socks...just watch...20 years from now, you'll have to hand your driver's license over to the pharmacist and fill out a form in order to get a nebulizer, and they'll be considered paraphernalia lmfao
 
i have a nebulizer that you put the liquid in, and first expirement was a CWE/micron filtered of bupropion and yes it does work, very wel in fact,. its very easy to dose and know when you have had enough because it hits you almost immediatly, so far this has worked with similar results with suboxone,purified hydrocodone, and tramadol, and the higher the concentration to water the more potent the vapor/mist, just dont put a mask on an sit down when you loaded it with 200mg of hydrocodone and 75 mg cyclizine, as you might pass out/nod and continue to breathe the mist to death, ...... i have found the more water soluable the more eficcient and when properly filtered its very interesting, as your just breathing and the effect comes on, bupropion in this way is actually decent while otherwise i would not touch it
 
Hmm, I would really like to try this as well .. Any idea of Oxycodone 30's would be a good candidate for this ROA ? I will have to buy the nebulizer as the only one I have is used by my youngest girl and I would kill myself if somehow she was hurt because of my using it. I can get one cheap though so it isn't like it would take a big investment or anything. In fact the wasted pharms (if it didn't work) would be the biggest loss.

My two problems with this are 1) wasted drugs and 2) getting fillers into the solution.

If anyone has a nebulizer/has used one, you'll notice they constantly output mist whether youre breathing in or not. That is a LOT of drugs to be wasting.

There is also an OLD THREAD about this so if a mod would like to merge them that would probably serve people better. EDIT: Maybe this IS the old thread? I thought there was another OLDER one i remember reading when I was doing lots of opanskis :P
 
Would starting the nebulizer, taking a big ole hit, and then turning it off as you held it in/exhaled work? Could you just start it up every time you need a hit and then just leave it on when you get to really close to the nod point (assuming you don't have a LD loaded in it lol)? That seems like that would cut down, if not eliminate the wasted drugs...

as far as fillers...couldn't you just use cotton to filter it and get them out that way? I don't have 5 bucks to burn for every dose I take lmao...
