Let's Talk Craft Beer

Hit up Founder's Brewery and left a very happy, very buzzed man:) Had their Red Eye and Dirty Bastard, both of which are awesome. God I love beer....

Last one I will probably be able to find until next year *sigh*

^ Is it really that good? I have always been apprehensive about trying any chocolate beer.

On another note, Bonnaroo is coming up. Would yall just drink liquor or beer or both? I can't decide because it will be around 100 degrees and you can only bring in 2 cases of beer or a half gallon of liquor. No glass, so the alcohol must be in a can or plastic bottle.

Had a Luke warm coors light after work today. I grabbed 2 but it took all I had to get one down.

Wiggi I would take beer. Ice cold beer taste great in the summer.

I am beyond picky when it comes to flavor and I think this chocolate beer is top notch. It really is like a dessert. It has a very rich and bold flavor. I can't drink more than a couple of these all on their own.

This beer is very good if you do a half and half mixture of chocolate stout and harpoon raspberry ufo. They call it the "red headed stepsister" at the brewery.

Idk do they have yuengling down south? And yeah that's a pretty decent one for cans. Just ask the dude at the store if they have any good beer in cans, there are some companies that put good beer in cans specifically for this reason. Idk what type of beer you like but one I remember bringing to a festy was Dale's pale ale. Pretty good for a can beer.

Also, I'd definitely bring beer if it's gonna be that hot out.

Fat Tire, Blue Moon, and Shiner Bock all come in cans too...depending on where you are, you can find Santa Fe Brews in cans as well...go to a liquor store and ask, they should be able to help you

My favorite beer in a can (that I can find) is Resin by Sixpoint Brewery in Brooklyn. They just expanded their market about a month or two ago to include Ohio and some other states. If you like Double IPA's, it's insanely good beer, especially for being in a can! Their other beers are all in cans and are all pretty good but Resin and Righteous Ale are their two best ones IMO. 21st Amendment Brewery out of San Francisco makes good beer in cans too. They have beers like Back in Black IPA (black ipa) and Monk's Blood (strong belgian dark ale) that are probably my two favorites by them. Their Brew Free or Die IPA and Hell or High Watermelon are good if you're just doing some session drinking. Pretty damn good for craft beer in a can. I think Sierra Nevada even has their Pale Ale and Torpedo IPA in cans now too.

Wild Blue Lager was quite the treat and damn potent too(8%) Its a blueberry lager thats really sweet but damn is it good!

That's the first I've ever heard that: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/29/26049 .

Speaking of beers people tend to hate, anybody ever try this stuff? http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/29/37424
Been meaning to play a game of kings where you have to chug one if you break the circle, but they only come in 6 packs, and I don't really want 6 of these fuckers.

Aroma was that of something you fish out of the sea. Appearance gets it its only points over the minimum because it was an interesting ruby color. Any head dissipates quickly. Tastes like salt water and vomit. There’s really no further tastes, it’s just overpoweringly salty. Palate was also horrible, it left a stinging, burning, wretched aftertaste. I’m impressed that I was able to finish the whole can. I should have just poured it. There’s no way to make this good.
