as much as i love the game i sort of hate pro baseball, but let's talk about it

with the pirates starting the year off with a series win vs the gayest team in sports(philthy phillies), i'm pretty excited

where's that cool phillies fan (opaner?) we had show up last year during the playoffs? i want to say hai
 
I like the Phillies the least out of the four teams but theyre still my team. Theyre a second half team though. When Ryan Howard comes back the lineup will get a boost and the rotation is going to be solid all year. If they dont make the playoffs id be very surprised. Escpecially since I see the Marlins imploding very soon, Ozzie is already in hot water for saying he loves Fidel Castro

sorry, i still share some of my vocabulary with that of a 15 year old child

it means i hate them, because jealousy

i didn't mind them during the francona years, cause they were horrible
 
The only thing I hate are bandwagon fans. People who couldnt name 3 players on the roster before 08 are the same ones who talk shit on fans from other cities. "yeah were number one and I dont know jack shit about baseball but got this shirt for $5 in the parking lot, wheres my beer?"
 
that pretty much sums up most fans in the state of pennsylvania, 'steeler nation' being the worst

i'm guessing every other sports city is like that too, although philly has the well deserved reputation

i hate most fanboys, i really only like talking about sports on here, most are the type who have never achieved anything athletically, but think their opinions are sacred and shut up if you don't agree with me attitude

i will always support my teams(they all suck), but i'll admit i pay way more attention and get much more emotionally attached when my team is having a good season
 
let me clear up who and what really annoy the fuck out of me

fans who think they are creative by declaring that every other team sucks, knows for a fact that the officiating crew is out to get them, declares that the game was fixed, participate in team chants in their living room, allow their frustrations from a game to cross over into the real world, and most important, tools who after a loss hate their coach, want him fired, second guess the shit out of them and think they would be better off running shit

i don't like having those kinds of people in my life and i don't want to talk to them
 
I support my teams too but Ill be the first to admit I like Football and basketball over hockey and baseball.

Eagles
Sixers
Flyers
Phillies

for me at least, although the Phillies are the oldest 1 city team in American sports. A lot of older people still like the A's better though, as they won more than the Phillies

I am very embarrassed about my people, the Cubans. To demand that a baseball manager should be fired because of drunken comments he made about a political issue is ridiculous to me.

Don't get me wrong: I am no Castro lover. I left Cuba in order to enjoy basic freedoms, and I would gladly shoot Castro in the head if he were placed before me right now. But Ozzie Guillen is just a guy who can't keep his mouth shut when he's drunk. I don't even think what he said was offensive.

Finally, we've been paying that guy a fortune to warm our bench for the past few years.

I heard dodger stadium had extra security for the opener. They may need to bring in the military in the future to control that band of insufferable faggots.

anybody catch the braves/phillies game last night? insane.

awesome to see chipper knock the game winner out of the park in the 11th.

rubber match going on right now, phillies are up 1 to 0 in the 3rd.
