I've recently started using drugs occasionally. I'm 20 years old and a student at a university. My first drug besides weed was cocaine in december and since then I've done coke a few times, GHB, and molly and ecstasy. I dont plan on doing any other drugs besides maybe acid once and it's not affecting my studies because I was already doing average at best in school.. So, I guess I'm just wondering if you think it's a problem to experiemnt when youre younger.. I'm not addicted but should I stop? I'll grow out of it right?
 
i was in your shoes a while back, then i tried benzos and opiates and things went down hill
 
what are opiates and benzos? ive heard of them but don't know what they are really or how they affect you
 
Opiates are pain relievers.. pills most commonly, im sure you've heard of vicodin and percocet. Benzos, or benzodiazepines, are sedatives, muscle relaxers, anti-anxiety etc.. like xanax or valium.

As far as your question goes, obviously its quite common to experiment when you are young but you seem to be using some of the more serious drugs. Just be aware that the fine line between "experimenting" and becoming "addicted" happens very quickly and often unintentionally or unnoticed. All it takes is finding that drug of choice and before you know it you've gone from a weekend warrior to daily, to numerous times a day. Have fun while you're young but don't be ignorant.

My best advice is to know your body, know your values (what matters to you), know your information. If you get these down I think you will be able to make decisions when it comes to drugs as compared to many poser junkies who just jump in.
