Eating grass with aweful taste, is it tainted or dangerous?

Questions and concerns:
Some weed taste so gosh darn aweful and unnatural I suspect it has been tainted.
Can anyone shine some insight into this please?

How possible is it to easily determine if it is tainted and if so with what?
How possible is it that this weed is actully ok and completely natural?

Often it tastes ok on initial chewing
but soon releases a bitter flavor that kind of burns the mouth and throat
leaving a lasting similar awful aftertaste
that takes a good 30 minutes to subside.

If this is of any help, most of this weed is in Thailand, but not sure where the grass originates from.

That's very odd. Eating ground up herb on edibles like Firecrackers or Leary biscuits doesn't taste good but it never made my throat burn or left a nasty taste in my mouth.

What happens when you smoke it?

Depending on what it's tainted with, it could be easy to spot (like with bits of glass or powder in the bud) or extremely difficult (like with certain liquids sprayed onto the bud).

I couldn't be sure with Thai bud... I know EU's had problems for years regarding tainted weed, but I have no clue what the situation's like in Asia.
 
Does it taste like dirty mexican hands? On a more serious note it's the nutrient feed that you can taste, you are supposed to 'flush' the plant in the weeks before cropping but money hungery grower keep pumping it with feed thinking they will get more bud.

i am still cautious about these kinds of sites
and have yet to learn how to completely and easily mask online doings

1-if the plant food is the cause, i'd like to know what they use
and how dangerous ingesting it might be
no obvious effects so far but...

2-it could be an anti-fungal, the weed that gets moldy usually doesn't have that awful taste

3-there is a slight possibility that whatever it is it might actually evaporate out if crumbled and left alone for a while, not certain

couldnt possibly taste any worse than bud light or tooheys new or rum...

golly gosh is so christian i hope jeebus doesnt here my blasphemy...fucken hell

The tainted weed isn't around anymore, it was something that sprung up, and then disappeared from the market as people got wise to it.
 
Again, the really odd thing is, whatever the taste is, i think it evaporates out after its prepped (grounded up) and sitting for a while.
