What types of thing should we report beside the ua question and people asking how to get prescriptions?
 
anything that violates the BLUA or sometimes threads that need to be moved to other forums since they're clearly in the wrong place.. i don't really do the latter tho.. also you can report trolling.. just use common sense, i used to report a lot but don't really anymore since this place seems so well modded that it's taken care of quick.
 
Anything that breaks the guidelines or the BLUA.

Flaming/abuse, substance IDs, Trolling, IV advocation/glorification. Synthesis discussion. Drug Cultivation/production. Dr. Shopping.

There's more, those are some examples.

OK guys, maybe I should know this....but WTF is "Trolling"? The word struck me so funny I actually started laughing! BUT, considering it's something one gets reported over, I'm guessing it's not a laughing matter, huh?
 
Trolling is, according to Wikipedia:

... a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4] The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted".

An example could be, let say there's a thread entitled How to Perform a CWE on Percocet:

A "troll" might comment-

I love to eat McDonalds, it's so healthy, and those angus burgers are to die for!

Angus burgers are good. Don't hate on angus burgers. The finger of blame should be pointed squarely at Burger King!
 
Trolling is one of the worst things on a forum because it's so annoying and disruptive.
 
It can be funny, but not when you're the one who has to clear up the mess.

That's true!
I can honestly say that before I stepped down from my modship status, I didn't see much trolling. I saw a lot of spamming from one poster (forget his name) who would post random pictures of elephants mating, monkeys, or some other shit. It was so annoying.
 
Apart from a certain mmhmmhmmmh I haven't seen much of it myself. Tracking down the alts of various members is actually pretty fun though, like being in private detective mode :D

LOL yeah! Alts are usually easily recognizable because they don't even care to change their typing/writing style and usually ask the same questions but using different wording. However, there are those that are much sneakier.
