Opioids Oxy and appetite--Question

Yeh man, for some reason my throat gets all tight n shit n the only way to swallow food is by taking it down with water. But hey, great way to drop some weight :)
 
opana makes my throat close up a bit, it's a bit unnerving. Especially when I was first trying opana, I thought I was going to stop breathing and shit. Took some getting used to.
 
I've noticed this about opiate: they make some people eat a TON and other people eat NOTHING.

Like for me, when i was doing opiates (daily), I lost MAD WEIGHT, I lost 10-20lbs. I just never ate, i'd rather get high than pay for food, i would've rather gotten high than eat then (which woulda meant i woulda bee less high for the most part, fatty food and opana aside), so I ate almost never.

But then I have a boy who when he was using ATE LIKE A MONSTER!!! He GAINED like 20lbs, opposite of me.

So as I've noticed, opiates make some people lose weight and others pack it on. It can go either way I've noticed.

Opiates also make it VERY DIFFICULT to swallow. Like, very very hard to the point where I feel I might choke. I have this problem A LOT. On OPANA in particular its worst, oxy I dont really get it. Heroin sometimes I do too. Suboxone is actually the one opi that doesn't make swallowing hard.

Yep, fentanyl is the worst for this. I had a loved one die for 8 minutes before the EMTs could bring the Medevac Helicopter after choking on food while on their normal dosage of fentanyl.
 
in the past it use to kill any type of hunger but now that im in chronic pain for most of my body.. its different now i can take any full antogonist and i get the munchies like im so hungry for every meal i eat almost double and i snack more.. but my bodys wierd very wierd im finding out.. but if i take suboxone it kills all hunger and i get full real fast i think suboxone does some fucked up shit to your body i think its worse than regular opiates and ive been on it for 2+ yrs.. thats why i wont suggest suboxone to anyone anymore unless its just a couple days worth to get trought bad WD's
