Are they legal to get here? Should I expect the Cops at my door? Should I try to get a head shop to get me one??

I've ordered a few kits over the years inside the US and never had any trouble at all (knocking on wood).
I know customs opened & inspected a package I ordered internationally and they still delivered it and no cops ever came to my place. I'd just order from dancesafe and not worry about it. It's not the test kits the government is really looking to find, it's the actual drugs.

We don't sell via head shops simply because they should be stored in a freezer or fridge and we haven't come up with any sort of shelf marketing materials. Also, demand just isn't high enough for random headshops to carry them except in major cities, and it's just easier to sell them all via our website. If anyone has some time and wants to help us come up with something headshops can put in their display counter to advertise they have these, please contact me.
And FYI, our testing kits are not illegal to buy or possess in any state in the US. There is some question as to whether it's legal to sell them (someone could argue they're paraphernalia), but that's my concern, not yours, and DanceSafe has never had a problem with it. No one is gonna subpoena our records to find someone who bought a legal product under suspicion they at one time had personal use amounts of an illegal drug. It just doesn't work that way.
