FF XIII-2 they've tried to go more 'open world' with it, more side quests, levelling areas and random other stuff to do. Which is more classic FF and should be good, but at the moment I'm finding it a bit all-over-the-place. It's not clear what you're meant to do next -- and the load times are absolutely horrific between zones. Though I've only been playing it for a few hours, I think figuring out what to do next will become clearer.

Aye very linear! Will give XIII-2 a bash though, not played many new RPGs and I'm always up for pointless sidequests and whatnot. Just bought a copy of Suikoden II for eighty fuckin quid after I lost my copy yeaaaars ago though so it's gonna be that first. Fucking love that series.

In non-geeky news, how the fuck do people live on their own? I've been on my own for two days now and I'm climbing the walls. So weird not having the lads wandering round being ridiculous and the not quite missus isn't back for a few days yet. Maddening! Only got beer and TV to keep me company, and even that's getting tedious. I can't even walk around naked because there's no bloody curtains in the kitchen or the front door.
 
Back from the gym and sweated the booze out. About to munch some Marks and Sparks Lincolnshire sausages. Oh yes. Saturday complete!

I lived on me own for a few months a couple of times when I was younger, no internet, no telly even at one place, I got into Radio4 and the Guardian crossword, oh and alcohol and drugs, and a pile of Razzle/Fiesta magazines me mate had left behind (jazz mags were rarely bought, tended to be inherited or found in lanes - "hedge-porn" as it's known ;) )

Hedge porn - Hahahaa, That is so true! I remember lots of times when we were young, making 'dens', and coming across odd bits of boob and minge pages, strewn about.
 
We regularly used to find porn on the site of a derelict bullet factory by the canal where we hung out. We were more excited by the bullets we'd occasionally find, however.

Ah, those reckless summer days spent hurling bricks at bullets in an attempt to make them go off. Memories.

So you became middle-aged then? ;) Already on me way with Radio 4 though. No hedge-porn sadly, got the online stuff but it just feels lazy! Alcohol and drugs are definitely on the list though
 
I don't even know if hedge-porn still exists with the advent of the internet....there's no reason for young teenage boys to go on country walks any more I suppose is there....

Haha, bless you. I love living alone -- but I always have enjoyed it. It's good to slump and watch TV and watch anything I want.

So end up crawling up the walls in boredom sometimes, but that when a big pile of drugs comes in handy.

I've been on the 6-APB for about 48 hours now. Surprised -- I remember it being more mashy and less of a 'clean stim', but have managed to have a really good time. Neck and shoulder are sooooooo stiff though!

Think the whole point of this place is to give a fuck about each other. I know not everyone does, but by and large I think it's a nice forum. Bye then I guess!!
 
Haha aye it's not bad I guess, means I can get in the shower whenever I want and stay for as long as I want at least. I'll get used to it just before the lads get back and then I'll miss being on my own :D Living with six people next year so yeah come October I'll be missing this place like fuck.

I think i may be a a convert. Was a-rustling & a-rammuging through some bobs and came across... dunno what to call it... pack of various garments deliverered en masse to all the houses round here ages ago by some local religious zealots in amongst the bumph. Utterly bizzare and I'm buggered if I see why thy chose to do such a thing really. I'm now the proud possessor of a handmade pair of nice cotton trouesers, top, and shoes. They're really comfy too. And also rather suited to the nice weather. The Lord truly does move in mysterious ways...
