I knew the National Anthem of Nigeria because I lived there as a kid, however I just googled it to make sure that I had all the lyrics right and they went and changed the damn thing! Same basic tune now but one of the best lines is gone("Though tribe and tongue may differ, in brotherhood we stand").

My parents moved us all over the U.S. growing up, too, and they always taught us the State song when we relocated.

Hey, transliterating the Soviet anthem from memory when I don't really know Russian is hard.

I read, but you still said that Canada is your home, which it is not. Song lyrics and anthems should go in quotes when being quoted. /grammar Nazi

How do you know I wasn't born in Canada? It's native enough.

Also, I've listened to the Argentinian anthem quite a number of time, however, cannot sing it (hearing impairment, ftw!).
