Opioids Is it appropriate to take tramadol now?

I'm sorry for all my posts about tramadol, i just have so many questions since i'm new to the drug and i have a hard time searching on this website, still learning, so i'm really sorry

Okay so yeah, yesterday i tried a 50mg tramadol capsule, i didn't feel anything.
So today i was thinking i'll try 100-150mg, but last night at around 11pm i took 50mg promehtazine with another antihistamine called theralene (alimemazine), they're my sleep meds

but my question is, would i be fine taking the tramadol at around 12pm?
it's 10:37 now

EDIT: Is it better to take the capsules after you've eaten? or does that increase the chances of throwing up? i'm a major emetophobe, phobia of feeling sick and throwing up
i have anti emetics around, including weed'

EDIT 2: I asked before in a thread how long it takes for it to kick in, how long it takes for it to peak, how long the high lasts, but now i can't find the answer again, could anyone tell me again?
1) how long 'till it kicks in (just 'till you start feeling the first effects)
2) how long 'till it peaks
3) how long does the high last
4) let's say i take 100mg tramadol at 12pm, how long should wait 'till i can judge if i'm high enough? 30-45m? then just take another 50mg capsule if needed yeah?
5 a) would i have to worry about nausea after taking 100mg?
5 b) would i have to worry about nausea after taking 150mg?
5 c) would i have to worry about nausea after taking 200mg?

I'm pretty sure tramadol takes at least an hour to kick in, so I would wait at least that long, though I'm not well versed with the medication. I believe what gets you high in tramadol is mostly the M1 metabolite, which explains the wait.

According to Wikipedia, seizures can occur at dosages around 700mg, though I've heard it happening at lower dosages. Your chances of seizure increase if you are taking SSRI's or trycylic antidepressant's. Some antihistamine's have mild effects on serotonin as well, though I don't know much about the two you talk of, but promethazine should potentate the tramadol.
 
I think your fine to take it now. I would take it on a empty stomach will make it hit harder and faster. Tramadol is pretty subtle so if your new to opiates it may not do much for you.
 
but if you take it on an empty stomach, do the side effects increase then too?
and should you take less than if you had just eaten or taken it with food?
how long should you wait in between, like let's say i take 150mg, how long should i wait 'till i decide whether or not to take another 50mg?

Ok op ill help you out..i love love lOVE Tramadol when there is nothing else around..
1)starts kicking in after about 30mins(ps. mine were tablets 50mg, idk bout Capsules i thought they were ER or somehting)
2)peaks about 1-1.5 hours
3)best part..high lasts about 6-7 hours
4)i weigh 225 and take about 350mg-400mg(max daily dose) for a euphoric bliss(careful can cause seizures, first time i took 200mg and got high but tolerance went UP) But take 200 wait 1.5 hrous and take another 100mg..

Hope i helped, take some of that promethazine before dosing or you will ITCH im talkin worse than codeine or even roxicodone.
....i havent puked since 4th grade excluding alcohol and drugs in unison
Have fun with it, but dont over do it..........personally ive never had a seizure, but everybody different
 
Oh and i take them after eating a SMALL snack like a granola bar or something just to give it a cushion to land on

Ps SMOKE WEED ON TRAMADOL MAN...FUCKING DO IT YOU WONT REGRET IT esp if you get sick
 
yeah i was planning on smoking weed while on tramadol
the first few times i've tried tramadol i haven't felt anything, so maybe i can't get high on them
 
yeah, i'ma take 150mg when i get off work and then 50mg when i'm back from work
if that doesn't get me high then i won't bother trying with tramadol, 'cause clearly then i can't get high on them
i bet they're good beneficial pills anyway

okay so i popped 150mg then like 20m later i took 50mg
then a while later i took 25mg promethazine, i only feel a little bit relaxed

think it's worth taking 200mg tomorrow morning or would it be pointless?
 
I don't know how much you're shelling out for your tramadol so I can't tell you if trying would sound futile to me...

I've personally never gotten a lot out of it granted I was in more pain than it could manage when I got put on it (and unfortunately am still on it) so I'm kind of biased against tramadol...

I wouldn't take more than 250mg, and if you do take that much I would dose 100mg at first, wait 45 minutes, take another 100mg, wait another 30-45 minutes, then drop the other 50...

From withdrawal this morning (I slept myself into it and woke up to horror) it took an hour for it to hit me at all and I know from reading/experience it takes about 2 hours to hit peak plasma levels...

The way your slowly going up though, your raising your tolerance to it before your actually feeling something recreational...it's almost as if your titrating your dose up like a doctor would (slow and to try to avoid any side effects that you're trying to experience)...
 
yeah i'm not gonna go over 200mg anyway, so if 200mg doesn't do it, i'll stick to weed, benzos and benzo analogs

i might actually feel the tramadol a bit, like maybe it's just sneaking up on me, gonna wait and see
 
There's a reason it's not a controlled substance......well...in some states it is...but in most...it's not...and the few states it is scheduled...it's not scheduled above C-IV...I've never had it, but I'm pretty sure you'd get more enjoyment out of gabapentin (neurontin) or pregabalin (lyrica)...
