Yeah i kinda knew he didn't have long and when i saw the international dialling code it was obvious .

He was a fantastic guy .

Seeing as I can't find the angry thread which has just made me more angry I'll vent here if thats all OK .

My fekin useless excuse of a nearly ex employer (handed in my notice and was put on garden leave about 10 days ago) are trying to wriggle oput of paying whats due in black and white in my contract i. fekin e “We reserve the right to make a payment in lieu of notice. Any payment will comprise of basic pay only”.

they are suggesting I either :-

1.) come back into the office they basically threw me out of giving me less than 5 mins to gather my belongings after 11 fekin years and do "project work" as yet undefined in a isolation for reasons of confidentiality.

2.) Accept a leaving date probably next week and get nothing

My boss didn't even have the balls to ring me up himself, spineless w***** he got the little lady from HR to do it and that only after i chased them down.

On Monday I met with my old boss and the HR lady and all was fine, I've called their bluff though and said I will be taking legal advice but I agree to come in "although what kind of work you can possibly expect me to reasonably undertake to any useful standard during this period I cannot imagine"

At least I know now I made the right decision to leave and the agency have been on and think they can help me out with the legals, I can't go into detail but I could so turn them over in so many ways if I really wanted to but I'd probably end up in prison so I guess I can just put that on the back burner, but its tempting.

Grrrr, I'll fek them over it might not be soon but I can wait
 
atm, that's rubbish! Don't let 'em bully you, I hope you can sort things out!

Cornish, money worries are awful :( I've lurched from one financial crisis to the next for years now it seems, so sick of it.. I hate thinking about money so much, I really do, but when you have none and can't pay your debts it's hard not to.. hope things turn around for you soon.

Wonga works on that people invest there own money into it, then say mr cornish wants to borrow a grand it would be split up between hundreds of peoples different money so if the payment never came back its only a small loss for the investor, was going to invest a shit load of money in the parent company before it got going but decided against.

Anyway on the natwest site overdrawn -£250 maxed, 5 minute online questionaiire, next day I get a grand in my bank, and I recieve a letter saying they denied my request the next day, must have been because i did it once then again saying i actaully earned more......

but all it did was go back down to -130 and still 1grand loan to pay after a mad gambling spree went bad, im well and truly fucked, load of different transactions all came in at once dont know what I was thinking

I got in trouble with those cunts .

Surprisingly when i said i couldn't pay them they were ok about it and asked what i could pay i was in to them for £300 and i paid em £50 a fortnight for 6 weeks , they freezed the intrest as well so it was not to bad .
I thought they would be much harder to please .
Cunts though still .
 
The FSA are all over these people, if your in trouble with paying them then do what Brimz did and contact them and agree a doable payment plan, they really haven't a great deal of choice but to accept it as long as its reasonable as they skate on the edge of the regulations as it is.
 
They really were surprisingly easy to deal with and it was a huge relief to know that i would not be able to borrow from them again .
Do it Cornish mate every day is gonna cost you more at a daft intrest rate

Things always seem to get to a point when it's almost sorted, and then I go bananas on the droogz and end up back @ square one again. 8(

It's gutting to think I could've cleared my debts by now had I not taken any substances.

But hey, Ce la vie!

@ Brimz, I'm relieved to hear you've had some experience with the chunts.

I'm sure I'll get it sorted no probs.
Am already paying 12 quid a month on a 1k+ credit card bill from years ago and they've frozen the interest on that.

Lucky I got a brother who works in banking and he knows some insider stuff.

I'm just gonna rinse my entire account/overdraft and open a new one with my Bro.

Wonga can fuck off! =D

I just had a certain conversation with someone I hardly know when I went to eat in the Soup Kitchen. I was shocked at the thoughts going through my mind after the conversation. Second similar conversation that's been put to me this evening in the space of an hour.
