Not on crime watch but you ever seen that UK version called "Cops" or something similar? Its in er south manchester im sure moppy will know, anyway basically 2 mates stumbling home from a night out, decide to take a short cut across a golf course, they get into like some random outhouse in the middle of the golf course and start hot boxing the place, think it was raining out or something, then it shows them getting chased off by some fat coppers on TV who got called there because of a possible "break-in" haha comes on every now and again pretty funny. Copper 1 "Absolute idiots, hes left his wallet here, right on the side".

I don't think i've seen that episode, which channel is it on? I'm guessing your mates didn't get done lol.

Its on BBC, its been on atleast 3-4 times now, of course they catch them lol 1 of them left his wallet on the side with all his cards in etc and some green, and they end up going round, dose'nt show it on the programme but just get a caution. Funny though the coppers start barking to pretend theyve got police dogs as they are chasing them to try and scare them, definitely going to try and dig up that episode.

haha, i'm gonna have to look out for that one. That's some serious bad luck though, having the police turn up like that. They have a habit of doing that. I think it if weren't for luck, and people dropping themselves in the shit in interviews, the police would never catch anyone. My favourite police show is probably Road Wars. I think it's the lame ass puns the voice over guy uses constantly.

If it was on bbc then it was Motorway cops.

Something tell me it's this one though.... Brit Cops two minutes in?? But ain't in Manchester.

You sure that wasn't Brass Eye ;)

Any how good morning EADD, I wonder what joys this fine Wednesday will bring, I plan to get my scooter running today having tracked down a rather obvious fault last night (the flywheel had pretty much come off !). I may have the irony of 2 running scooters in a garage with a broken garage door :D

So when's the garage door getting fixed atm? Another job eh...this lounge-ratting is keeping you busy I believe :D Looks like it would be a lovely day to get out on your scooter - wish we could go out on the motorbike :( but alas I have work :X again :\

Ok for some!

And good morning eadd.

I'm not feeling so hot, have got an UTI which I'm sure came from debauchery and caning too much mxe. I'm a fragile snowflake 8( Least this will make me take a sabbatical, nought like being sick to force the point grrr

Cherry, don't worry about it. I have had almost 10 abscesses drained in the last 5 years. They KO you, and you're up and out again the same day or the day after :) The propafol (that they will probably use) is really safe when used in a medical setting, and you will definitely wake up. They are just knocking you out to spare you pain and distress, not because it is necessarily vital! The relief you get from the abscess being drained is AMAZING too. Abscesses are hard to medicate for because of the type of pain they create, and they just escalate. Also, in my experience anti-biotics never get rid of abscesses. If you get another one make them drain it while it's small before it starts causing you pain.

I recommend you ask for some instillagel. It's a topical numbing cream with lidocaine in it, and it was just about the only thing that relieved the pain even slightly.

Please don't stress or worry over this. I know a general anesthetic can be daunting, but it is many times safer than the drugs we use on a near daily basis.

Thank you, that's made me feel a whole lot better. I actually can't wait now, the pain is even worse this morning. The skin is so so stretched and tight over the top of it, the abscess is huge, 7 inches from one side to the other, and it looks like there's half a golf ball under my skin. Nasty. There's another one looks like it might forming on my left arm, fingers crossed it's not gonna get infected, I think that one DID benefit from the anti-biotics instead of my thigh.

Off to Hospital now. I'm not coping well without my standard early morning cup of coffee, but I might get a cheeky dose again in bed when i'm waiting to go for surgery.

Here goes! :)

Best of lucky with the surgery Cherry <3 hopefully they will take good care of you and provide lots of tlc on your recovery.

Why ever would you want to jailbreak yer i-phone 8)

...and good morning to you two too!

Ahh I've had a man round this week and agreed a price, so in the next 3 weeks, I'm going to take it totally off its fixing today so I can at least get in and out of the garage. I can lean it back up so it looks closed and then just park the Tank Rover really close to it to make sure no one can get in overnight.

Lounge is coming on nicely all paintwork done ( by Mrs atm ) new furniture purchased and assembled and most of the old stuff already on on flee bay. Have given up my OTT speaker system and thats on flea bay to, purchased some little bookshelf speakers which are good enough for the job 99% of the time ( in other words unless I'm in the house on my own which is a rarity) and all new TV and hi-fi stand assembled and fitted. Oh and new curtain and curtain pole.

We await the delivery date for the infamous corner sofa at which point we will have to part with our old leather friend and 2 leather Ikea chairs, the bucket chairs will go via Ebay but the sofa is going to a local charity.

Sorry to hear your not to chippa UTIs aren't something men seem to suffer much with but Mrs atm had a spate of them that seemed to go on forever, she gave up on all the treatments and now just drink loads of water and does a few other things that I won't go into after certain activities. This seems to have done the trick.

My stomach isn't great at the moment, I though it might be another internal bleed but it seems not, which is a relief, just side effects from my AD I think and a bit better this morning, but no work for me at the mo as my garden leave continues.

Why have an I-phone, nasty fruity commonditised piece of .........

At least you broke it free that's something, I wouldn't have the cheeky fekers controlling what I could or couldn't do with tech I'd paid for (or in your case you old man paid for !)

Wow! you have been a busy bee :)

Lounge sounds lovely - what colour scheme have you (aka mrs atm) went for?

Is your doc quite happy to let you suffer this atm? sounds grim, i bet you don't even moan to him/her about it hmmm;) (men 8))

Hopefully I've got the uti in time, been drinking loads of bloody cranberry juice so no acidic wees hehe. Not had one in ages, it'll teach me to take things too far...

Should make a move, but may have another cuppa and abuse my flexitime.

btw I-phones are ace!

I have a review with him that I need to get booked in, this has only flared up in the last few days, I get nausea and stomach problems from the Venlafaxine but its better than anything else I've tried so really don't want to rock the boat. I want off of AD this year if possible they don't really agree with me at all and I have tried more than a few but they serve a purpose and its tricky to say of they still do without stopping:\

Last time I saw him I said about the headaches I was getting from them and he wanted to put me on Amitriptyline, I'm not throwing more into the mix, I've just stopped taking all pain killers because I think the codeine was actually making it worse and its tolerable.

I just don't want any more meds, I can cope with with what I'm taking at the moment and having just finished my CBT I'm not in bad shape so I'd rather cope with the side effects that I have than risk adding or changing my current script.

I get on OK with this new doc, my old one who I really liked retired but this new young guys OK, but your right I hate going to the doctors but have to fairly regularly as I also have psoriasis which they insist on checking up on at lest every 3 months even though I seem to know more about it then the doctors an there not allowed to change my script without referring me back to my dermatologist.

Oh really? So that's what happens when Mrs. atm leaves you to your own devices, eh? ;)

Hey you can't deny a man a bit of mid week relief even if it is with a garage door salesman;) unfortunately Mrs atm ws actually in, she only works part time and I have little inclination on these dam ADs anyway even if I had fancied giving him a tour of the garage :D
