About 3 months ago I believe I may have been raped but just recently put the pieces together. I'm very nervous that I may be positive. I had sore lymphnodes in my neck about a month ago for no more than a week. Also my ex had a sore feeling in her groin. my ex has been donating plasma since we broke up and we had unprotected sex before that but after my possible rape. Do you think her donations would have tested positive throughout that time (about two months) if she is infected? I'm driving myself insane and I cant stop thinking that I'm positive and that my ignorance will ruin many lives. I plan on getting myself tested asap and again in 3-4 months

They will test blood/plasma and will throw it out if it tests positive. All donations are screened for bloodborne pathogens and HIV/AIDS. They also notify you in the event of a positive screening result.

The sore lymph nodes and your ex having a sore feeling in her groin can be completely unrelated to anything. The only way you will know for sure is if you get tested. You can get an oral rapidtest done to test for HIV. It is non-invasive and you get your results in 20 minutes. It is accurate and quick. So instead of diving into hypotheticals, you should make an appointment at a clinic or with a private doctor as soon as possible. We can't tell you if you have HIV based on the information you gave us.

^This!

Asking strangers on the Internet if you have a disease is not going to yield any accurate results. Please make an appointment with a health professional.

Also, as a side-note are you aware of The Dark Side forum on Bluelight? They will be able to provide non-judgmental support for any psychological problems you're experiencing as a result of your suspected rape.

I'm going to close this as i don't think blind conjecture is going to be of any benefit. Let me know if you wish to reopen this in the future. Best of luck with everything. <3
