Does anyone know if it's safe to inject Diamorphine pills?

I thought the pill binder would make it a bit sketchy?

I would've thought so too, though you'll find plenty of people here who've shot various different types of pill. Some of them may even be missing a limb for their troubles.

If you're going to do it then please go down the micron-filtering route that BL always advises, and I really mean that. I know there's probably just as much crap in most of the comedy 'heroin' that's around these days, but you don't want to take a risk you cn easily avoid, do you? And remember that stuff's going to be a hell of a lot purer than what you're used to.

Out of interest, are these the brown ones that certain PK med wholesalers started to offer last year, or are they from elsewhere? I did raise the issue regarding injecting pills, but the peeps I was with seemed to think they were 100% kosher, and the whole pill would dissolve in the water with no heat or acid needed and that the binder wasn't a problem?

I never got a look at em though.
I've a feeling the friend who got them ended up doing most of them (they were absolutely ruined/incoherent).

I got almost zero effect from my share.
As did another person who chipped in.

Been trying to get hold of them for more as they still owe me.....

Personally,I believe IV'ing anything that was not intended for that purpose is a dodgy move
having almost lost an arm playing that game and thinking about how I would manage my life missing a limb
also knowing one guy who lost a leg,one who lost an arm and another who lost his life by repeatedly injected into a seriously infected arm
....no-whatever 'they' say,I would think good and hard about shooting up any pills at all

Certain pills have binders that are more harmless than others. I've no idea what binders are in legit UK-scripted diamorphine pills but I wouldn't think it was healthy to inject too many.

That said, there are loads of people who get away with injecting pills of various descriptions, taking minimal (or no) precautions and keep all their limbs. There are also people who drive drunk and live till a ripe old age without a major accident. If you get what I mean.

Those 'mates' sound like bastards though. If only that kind of thing wasn't utterly typical of the heroin scene...

imo you should get smashed at least once before your stretch.try and use the time inside to make positive changes in your life,easy for me too say but when you get settled it probably wont be as bad as you think,good luck and remember we will be wishing you all the best,take care!!

Hi Class-A-Team!!! Are you doing your Leaving Cert Exams this year? Yes heroin is a crazy drug to get into before you have even left school! With the quality of heroin been so weak at the moment it would be a good time to get clean! Heroin always brings people down a lonely & dark road, give your life a chance before the gear takes your life over completely........

I have friends who IV, some of them have been using heroin for 30 years, but most of them have either stopped using heroin altogether since the drought or else they just have an occasional smoke, now just like i do. With the Dublin gear been only 5% people are worrying about what is in the other 95%. I was at the methadone clinic to-day, i have to go once every two weeks to do a drugs test & get my methadone prescription, i'd say 70% of the people i met in the clinic to-day have stopped using altogether & the other 30% are just have the occasional smoke. People are sick of been ripped off!!!

Before the drought i was using heroin daily, so i never passed my drugs test in the clinic. I used to have to go to the clinic once every week to do a drugs test & then i had to go to my chemist Every Single Day to get my methadone & i had to be supervised taking it. Coz of this i always had to stay near home so that i didn't miss my chemist, i couldn't ever go away for the weekend or anything like that & it was so hard trying to make it back to the chemist after work in time before the chemist closed. Methadone is such a tie down, i always live in fear of missing the chemist, it awful.

Also the side effects of methadone are awful, it has of all the bad side effects that you get off heroin plus more, but it doesn't give you any of the good stuff that you get from heroin, there is no buzz off it what-so-ever, it just leaves you feeling blagh all the time!

At the start of the drought i managed to pass my drugs test for 8 weeks in a row so they changed it so i only had to go to the clinic once every 2 weeks! Then when i continued passing my drugs test they started to given me a weekly take away of methadone from the chemist, so at least i don't have to run around town like a mad women every day trying to make it back to the chemist before it closes! But if i started to fail my drugs tests again then i'd have to go back to the old way of daily pick ups! So now i normally use for a few days after i've been to the clinic & then i stay clean for the second week so i pass my drug test when i go back. Its a real balancing act! It no way to live!

The life of a heroin addict just gets worse as the years go by, you end up looking like shit, your teeth start falling out no matter ho much you look after them. You never have any money for your self coz heroin takes every single penny that you earn. After a while you stop getting a buzz off the heroin even if its good gear, all it does is keep you barely feeling well. You end up loosing all your non heroin using mates, it can get so lonely, if your family were to find out it would hurt them & they would stop trusting you. Also you live in constant fear of been caught with heroin, if you are caught you could go to jail, as well you would end up with a criminal record, that means that there are certain jobs that you would never be allowed to do & certain countries that you wouldn't even be let into to visit!

Soon you realized that there is nothing enjoyable left in heroin, its all hassle & risk, you'll always be broke & feeling sick! Thats when people normally go on methadone & as i explained above that is a whole lot of grief & hassle in itself! Then you end up with a heroin addiction AND a methadone addiction, & thats scary as hell when it happens!

Heroin is a road that starts off as a great buzz, but it always turns bad, no good ever comes out of it! But by the time you realize how bad your life has become its often too late, your brain is totally programed to use heroin & its so bloody hard to stop using it! Sure look after a year & 4 months of only crap gear been available i'm still spending most of my money on it, it becomes a habit that is near impossible to break!

I know you didn't ask me what life of a heroin addict is like & i'm sorry for going on & on, 8( i know i must sound like an awful hypocrite!!! But if there is anything that i could do or say to make you stop using heroin then i would do it! You have your whole life ahead of you, you'll be finished school in a few months & then the world is you oyster! Don't let heroin take you over coz it will never totally let you go!

Ok Class-A-Team that is the end of the nagging! I promise not to lecture you again, well i will try not to! Just look after your self & i hope that you do well in your leaving Cert Exams! I'm hoping to go back to College in September! I'm 40 years old, so its now are never!!!! Take Care & remember that i'm always here if you need a chat! I'm sure you are sick of being lectured about your drug use
I just want to say,I been using for nearly 18yrs now and I really don't remember life without gear
I do remember my first rattle and with the benefit of hindsight(wouldn't that be cool),I wish I'd gone through it then-woulda been so easy and saved so much pain and anguish
like most users,I have always worked for my habit but when having no work,I did what I could to get by
now I am facing 3-5yrs in jail(sentencing on 13th april)
it's scary but I've seen it coming for years now
dunno if you read my post which was an update about an ex moderator here called 'glitched'
unlike most of us,he saw it coming-knew that if he kept using he would lose everything he holds dear(girlfriend/family/job/any respect/passtimes of which he is a pretty big player-cannot go into derails here)...he saw it coming and he quit
most of us here have seen it coming but have just let it happen anyway
you'll never get the buzz you had the first few times you used even if you stopped for a few years then started again-it'll never happen so don't let it drag you down

Daveb100,who some of you may know from here,currently has DVT in 2 major veins in his legs and is a bit fucked(sure he won't mind me telling you)
ALSO news on Glitched(who also won't mind me telling you)-has stopped using-may have said this before-he has a whole lot going for him in his life and he knows if he keeps using he will likely lose it so has done what most of us couldn't do and see it coming a quit whilst ahead-big respect for that move-he has also stood down from moderating-just generally moving away from the scene,but is doing well in life and not missing the gear

As most of you know i also have had DVTs.
I know have irreversible damage to the circulation in my Right leg This is called Post-thrombotic syndrome.

It will never get better 100% but i can live with it and given my injecting history and complications associated with it living is a good deal .

When i have had actuall Diamorphine the histamine realise is no where near as significant as normal Morphine.

I have had both in proper BP Amps & they are significantly different and neither are much like street gear .

Diamorphine can be a bit of a letdown tbh cos you are expecting something different to what you actually get .

In your head well my head !! i was thinkin "this is gonna be like the best gear ever " when in fact it is not like that at all.
I've had white gear a few times over the years on the streets and by all accounts it was as pure as you can get yet it was not like diamorphine amps.

i'm sure anyone else who has had the compounds i'm talking of will relate to what i'm saying .

nor have i since about 2003 .

That was in the U.K mind in all my years only had white in the U.K less than 10 times but more than 5 .

So that works out at once every 2 tears roughly haha !!

I've had the DM amps More enough times to no what to expect from them never had pills though .

I've had standard morphine amps a few times the histamine release is v. unpleasant although once over that they are good far superior to any pill form of Morhine.

Still say That Methadone Amps with Cyclazine are the best better than DM Amps if i had the choice of a one of hit it Would Be the Methadone concerntrate amps mixed with Cyclazine over The DM amps .

I was once prescribes 50mg/1ml amps on the nhs !! do one n half of them with some cyclazine for me you have the best Rush out their .
Like Dicanol ( The Rush) but longer acting buzz (the Methadone )

I actually got offered a methadone amp, but I turned down it down thinking the diamorph pill would be better.

Saying that, I probably wouldn't of been able to access cyclazine knowing my luck.

Meth amps are pretty rare these days as they don't have any place in treatment ,trials have proved this .

Still availible private or historical .

If you ever get one don't bother wasting it till u can get the cyclazine if u have a wee gander it's not the hardest compound to acquire as it has little use on it's own .

so,brought some of this '10/10 fire' i was offered last night
it's the same light coloured stuff he was getting before-maybe a bit stronger
bags are half the size and i did get a gouch after about 5 of them.
can't afford to be binging on this
i need to save all my money for a deposit on a new place when i get out and for canteen credit whilst inside

I'm really starting to think that this spell inside and the opportunity it presents to get clean could really be the best thing for me
