Ok, can someone answer some questions for me ? There's just so many types and names for me to keep track of, I'm getting overwhelmed and confused.

1. What's the difference between Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Roxicodone ?
2. When a pill says 80 "OC" does that mean OxyContin ? If it doesn't say "OC" and says "OP" what does that mean ?
3. What's the difference between Hydrocodone and Oxycodone ? (In term's of "High" ?)
4. Why do I hear people referring to "old forumla" ? What does that mean ?

Thank you.

1. Oxycodone is the name of the drug itself. Oxycontin is a time-release brand of the drug. Roxicodone is a generic insta-release brand.
2. Yes, oxycontin 80mg. Think OP80 is the new formulation oxycontin.
3. Not sure, never done hydro. Hopefully someone else can elaborate on this.
4. Old formula was back when the pills were easier to use recreationally. 'New Formula' pills turn to gooey mush and are very difficult to prep for IV.

I can't tell you all the things, but I know something. In most likely there will more people speak up on this.

1.
The difference between Oxycodone, Oxycontin and Roxicodone is that.. Oxycodone is an medication that has several brand names like Oxycontin, Roxicodone and Percocets annd many more.. The formulations of Oxycodone are available as generics but are also made under various brand names as I wrote before.

2.
When the pill says 80 "OC" that DOES mean that is is OxyContin.

As of April 2010 an "abuse resistant", controlled release formulation of Oxycontin was approved for sale in the United States. The reformulated OxyContin is intended to lessen the ability to tamper with the opioid medication — from being cut, broken, chewed, crushed or dissolved, however, there is no evidence that the reformulation of OxyContin is less subject to misuse, abuse, diversion, overdose, or addiction. The abuse resistant formulation is recognizable by a pill marking "OP" on one side and the milligrams of oxycodone contained within the pill on the other. The previous formulation has an "OC" marking replacing the "OP" of the new formulation.

3.
Oxy and hydro's have a very different high, I think hydros are more mellow and oxy are more of a strong rush, well maybe that's cause I always snort oxys :-p. But you shouldnt be asking us, it depends on the person and what kind of buzz they like better. I like any opiate.

4.
The old formula is basically the "OC" ones but not the "OP" ones that I described before the difference.

1. Oxycodone is the active ingredient in both OxyContin and Roxicodone. The difference in these drugs is the way the oxycodone is absorbed. Roxicodone is immediate release, the entire dose dissolving into your bloodstream at the same time. OxyContin stands for Oxycodone Continuous Release, and is designed to slowly deliver a steady dose of Oxycodone to you over a 12 hour period (or so they say).

2. Yes, a green pill that says OC and 80 is an original formula OxyContin 80mg. If it looks identical, and says OP instead of OC, it's still OxyContin, it's just the new formula thats impossible to abuse by crushing and sniffing or shooting.

3. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are both very similar, they are both full agonist opioids. Main difference being potency, 15mg of Oxycodone will get you just about as high as 30mg of Hydrocodone will get you. The differences in the "high" between the two is very subjective and depends on body chemistry and many other factors.

4. The old formula was the original OC 80, OxyContin, that you could crush and sniff or shoot. The new formula, is the OP 80's, which cannot be abused.

I hope this answers everything

I typically take 30mg Hydrocodone once a week and occasionally will take 20 mg Oxycodone if I can get my hands on it. They both produce pretty similar effects. Oxycodone (for whatever reason) tends to keep me feeling more awake when compared to Hydro's. They also produce(depending on your dosage) slightly more euphoria IMO. Both have very good recreational value and the experiences are not too different.
