Please help little worried

Yeah I experience a slight (very mild) discomfort on my right side just under my liver i assume, not directly below rib cage but parralell to belly button after about an hour after consumption and lasts about half an hour, im guessing (hoping) its just an effect of codeine on the stomach, and as I said is mild but freaks me out a bit sometimes...

Also dunno if im freaking out or what but an hour or 2 after consumption my right side looks bigger (blown up) a little when comparing to my left side but maybe its cause i eat a little food about an hour after drinking the CWE I dunno...

You can have elevated LFTs though and be experiencing no pain or discomfort. You may not feel unwell whist serious damage is being done. :\

yeah i know, i didnt bother ging to the doctor until the discomfort was constant, i thik a normal lft is 50 and mine was 270

got it down to 100 with 3 months of no booze or anything with parcetomol or ibuprofen, the liver is such a forgiving organ

my tests on my kidneys have always been normal so i am greatful for that

Liver function test

i meant to say my ALT levels were 270 (i think its ALT) which is something to do with your enzyme level in your liver

go get a a liver finction test done if its bothering you, if its caused problems a few months of abstinence should do the trick

If it's milky it's fucked - simple. Bit surprised by some of the answers here. It should never be milky - just somewhat cloudy.

^ Yeah my CWE is always almost clear as water from the tap until i get impatient, and squeeze the remaining liquid which turns it white = paracetamol = bad

I will try take a photo pre-squeeze next time to show you

Wheres the HR at?!

Not necessarily, it depends on which brand you use. I used to get rather milky CWE's from certain brands of ibuprofen/codeine pills, but then clear results from others, using the same technique. I assumed it was binders or dye or something that was getting through, because it wasn't ibuprofen (no more than the usual negligible quantity anyway).

^ Same here. Some brands would give me clearer solutions, others would give me milky and it seemed obvious that it was due to binders and fillers rather then extra paracetamol as I was using the same method just different brands.

There is some variance but I'd just be wary if it's milky and stick to the non-milky brands. I don't really do CWEs anymore, but all Ibuprofen blends were quite difficult from my experience. In the name of HR, Chemist's Own seemed quite easy to CWE and gave clear solutions - so despite the lower codeine content I always preferred them. Panadeine Extra always seemed difficult.

So you are saying after I squeeze its only letting in binders/fillers not Paracetamol and that is what's turning it milky?

How can you know that? Considering if I didn't squeeze the filter and just chucked out the tiny ass bit of liquid left in the filter it would be clear as water (almost)

^yes agree. There seems to be a pretty casual attitude to doing CWEs expressed here when there are dozens of pages/threads that explain how and why to do it well to prevent long term damage. If you're are doing CWEs regularly, which is often the case, "a bit milky" isn't really OK.

If squeezing the filter is the difference between milky or clear then you are squeezing through particles that are suspended not dissolved. That includes paracetamol. And you should be filtering it cold. Even completely clear liquid will have paracetamol dissolved in it, but it will have a lot less if it is colder. Codeine has the unusual property of being more soluble the colder it is, not that this matters as it is so soluble at any temperature.

Check ibuprofen and paracetamols solubility suspended in water. I always squeeze my filter as codeine is trapped inside it still. You want to get all the goodies out of there. Some para/ibu might fall through the filter but that amount wont hurt you or do any damage. There are 800mg ibuprofen pills out there which Im assuming would be the maximum dosage at a time but the ibu/para that falls though wont even reach that quantity. Just have a look how much 800mg powder is. Its quite a lot isnt it? Ive been doing this for many many years, got my blood tests done few weeks back and everything was OK including liver and kidneys. Was really really eager to find out my results but knock on wood it was good.

recently I had a constant pain on my right side. i ended up in hospital, had a ultra sound, blood test and my ALT was normal. Was adamant that i had given myself liver poisoning as I had extreme fatigue (seriously just passing out in almost mid conversation). I had been doing some CWE so I thought i had killed my liver. that week i saw like 5 doctors, they all said i had a virus. at which point i thought i had contracted hep a/b/c from my injecting. ahhh parnonia. got a doctor to finally give me bloods/pathology, ticked the boxs on a zillion different tests.

i discovered that i had glandular fever. what a fucking bitch that was. absolutely fucked me for two weeks and now its returning almost ever month.

Sustanon, wasn't saying it was going to hurt him just answering his question whether he was squeezing paracetamol into his mix. Still for the price of the tabs, do you really need to squeeze out every last drop?

Actually, that's a silly question. I know the answer myself :)
