I've definitely thought about injecting a lot,but I'm still kinda unsure.. I don't personally know anyone who does it anyway..so I've been sticking to snorting. I'm pretty sure I like the act of snorting just as much as the actual high lol is that weird?

Not weird at all. I loooooove snorting (almost) anything that will have a personally desirable effect (Cocaine, Meth, Ketamine, a few Opiates, 2C-E, 25i-NBOMe, and MXE are what Ive snorted) and will snort them all (save for Meth) again if the opportunity arose.

The act of snorting and/or preparation of a substance ready to be snorted can also become an addiction in itself, just like how the needle can become an addiction by itself as well.
 
Hmm very interesting..I'd say I definitely have that addiction! Lol and I really haven't snorted a ton of different things before, just cocaine, adderall, Valium and hydrocodone so far but I love them all
 
I love the feeling of a drug going up my nose, especially fast acting ones like Cocaine and Meth, but the rush of warmth and comfort I got from IVing Heroin and Hydromorphone (not at once obv) was just.... wow.

Well when the right time comes I might just have to try it someday :) especially since needles, blood and all that stuff has never bothered me. And trust me, I know what you mean about the snorting..nothing compares to that wake up call
 
I usually use orally, or up the nose, up the bum- I have thought about injecting, but I really don't know how *(I haven't looked into it that much) because I am relatively happy with my current methods, but that little voice inside, the one who wants to explore, is always telling me do do such, thus I will probably look into the injection method soon. Plus a lot of what I use are RC's, and sometimes it's questionable weather or not you would want to inject those.

family member is diabetic, I have LOTS of clean needles to my disposal
-questions come up like- to I have to hit a vein? can I just stick my thigh?
I would love to feel the rush of 4FA hitting my blood in such a way, but I also like the pleasant "ease into" feeling you get when ingesting.

I have nothing against IV users- I have seen it done in person with heroin-
but I dunno- I guess only time will tell

I'll spare you the dissapointment man, 4-FA is no good I.V.

Now 4-MCC and MDPV are another story, but 4-FA was one of the ONLY stimulant's that I would ever take orally over I.V.

Really? I had this bro who mad loved IV 4-FA, almost got me to try it, never bothered since I had methamphetamine when I was more into stimulants.

Well with the RC market... maybe he was getting 4-FMC or something, who knows. Do you really know without testing it these days? =D

My 2 cents, you are already enjoying other ROA's. Spare yourself a lot of pain and suffering. I've seen friends who haven't even done 0.1% of the injections I have, who have already 1) overdosed, 2) hit arteries, 3) gone to jail or worse (like, died).

Of course, the Captain is still alive and breathing. You'd be wise to listen in here - if you want to just stick a needle in your thigh, for any drug, it would be wise to micron filter it. Look it up in Other Drugs directory. ;)

Unless, that is, you get ampules of some delicious IV-able drug. ;)

As I'm sure you might ask... what drugs have the Captain injected???

2c-E (IM only! Some crazy kid who was into the 8mg subs like me got into IV 2c-_ and I thought he lost his mind for liking it! IM 2c-E is crazy potent!)
Alprazolam (IV or IM, it's all good, but it's a super addictive effect, I rarely do it now a days)
Buprenorphine (I IM/IV it to this day, mostly IM use though!)
Cocaine (never again dude)
Heroin (never again dude)
Hydroxyzine (ONLY IM!!! Will wreck your veins - NEVER IV hydroxyzine!)
Ketamine (I WOULD IM Ketamine, not IV!!!)
Methamphetamine (never again dude)
MDA (1 experience was enough for a lifetime 8( read the trip report in TR)
Midazolam (IV or IM!!! Good drug! Very addictive unfortunately; the Cpt. hasn't used this since his surgery)
Midazolam + Fentanyl (NEVER AGAIN - near overdose experience for general anesthesia during surgery 8( I'd rather die and not come back next time)

^yeah, that's definately a good point, though my vendor at the time had a real good reputation, and I'm pretty sure it was the real deal, since the MDPV I got from them certainly was..

I.V anti-histamine's, no good-learned that one the hard way..
 
Well now, hate to bump an old thread, but I'm neeeewwww...

So there.

Anywho, when I first injected, it was IV heroin & I didn't do it. I had the more experienced guy do it for me (he also did it for his gf). Fell in love. Eventually, tried myself & got the hang of it.

Met a dude that slammed cocaine, so I had to try that too. After a super-concentrated hit, I had to run to the bathroom to vomit.

Then, when shit started to get desperate, I started shooting up crushed pills (mainly methylphenidate & the worthless d- amphetamine, I learned later, & Ambien once). I don't even like stims really! But I think I've googled every pill I had to see if it was worthy. Although, I seriously know how terrible it is to inject pills, even when filtering the shit outta them you never get EVERYTHING bad out.

I think I have a plain old addiction to the needle.
 
I have a few times.
If I got a hold of some injectable opiate (that's considered safe to inject) I wouldn't think twice about it tbh. That's why I avoid these drugs like the plague. :p

The main thing I've IV'ed is amphetamines, because my nasal cavity doesn't like snorting anymore. The prepping up a shot is kinda addictive in itsself, like chopping up lines. But still, out of 10 times I use speed, I'll IV it once. (And I don't use speed often anymore.) I've tried a few other drugs via this route (ket, mxe, pentazocine(lol), molly) but not more than once.

Oh and ket/mxe IM, the only way to do it.. =D

I know that people think we're crazy, but I don't care... there's nothing like blowing down a fat fucking line of dope. It just "hits the spot" inside your nose, and I love everything about it... I love the feeling, the drip, the taste, everything.
 
It just doesn't appeal to me, and I guess that I'm lucky in that respect.

I think there was just one occasion really when I actually felt compelled to slam it, and that's when I only had a few bags left and it wasn't enough to get us high. I remember my friend just sort of saying, "well uh... I've got a freshie if you guys want it."

I thought about it, and thought about it, and thought about it... and I swear that was the longest moment of my life. I wish all of you could have been inside my head at that moment; my thoughts were racing like well, it's not enough to get us high, and we're already sniffing the shit so why not slam it? what's the big deal? is it really that much different? maybe we can go back to sniffing it... no, no one ever goes back to sniffing it after they slam it, and after we slam it our tolerance will probably become even more insane....

It was one of those Kevin Arnold moments, man... if Kevin Arnold had been a drug user. haha I think I just blurted out, "I gotta go home..." or something like that and then once I got back home I felt much better about the whole thing. I was so, so glad that I didn't slam it...
 
honestly i feel like i could successfully drug all i wanted if i had never picked up a needle ... and i know you NA people are laughing at this statement but for me its true ... anyway i do still and its the craziest high but it makes you fall so much harder
 
I remember that before I injected, I was very much into the ritual of sniffing-it's also an addictive process.

I do think though that the addiction to the needle can happen to anyone though, even those who are completely turned off by the idea. All it takes is giving it one try, the association is so powerful that it can completely change your feelings on the matter. I was perfectly content sniffing, and became (sad to say) peer pressured into injecting. I was so scared of the needle that I looked away as the shot was administered. However, after feeling that rush, I had no fear about IV use, and even began poking myself with needles the next day.

I think that those who tend to inject often begin experimenting with other drugs IV too, which is what really fucked me. I caught the needle fever hard once I shot cocaine, and then went on to shoot nearly every drug that I came across which would dissolve in water. IV drug use can be done in a relatively responsible manner, using micron filters and sterile equipment, but it also leads to a lot more risky behaviour IMO, especially since the majority of people out there shooting dope/coke/meth, have never heard of microns, or been on bluelight or any other harm reduction forum. I don't know, got a little off topic, sorry.
 
Sometimes I fantasize about shooting up, mostly hydromorphone. But I'd end up in a world of hurt because I can barely control my insufflation habit. I wanted to shoot coke when I was 17 -- but I got arrested and took it as a sign to stay the fuck away from needles. :\
