Tricyclic Antidepressants on blood pressure

any body knows that which medicine Anafranil (Clomipramine) or Tofranil (impermaine increase blood pressure more?some sites indicate these med reduce blood pressure instead of increasing.what is true?

Tricyclic anti depressants are a tough one because different people have such very different reactions to them. i.e i'm on nortrytiline, it should slow my heart but it causes it to race. Has had no effect on my blood pressure though. But yes, it is possible. Why? Do you feel that your blood pressure is low?

Most doctors will tell you it will slow everything, make you tired. Slow blood pressure. But as i said, this drug is a strange one, it reacts with the body very randomly per person.

i m on isoniazid (INH) for latent TB. this medi also made my mood very good.i search and found this medi also have some serotonin effect. but disadvantage i have is high blood pressure during the usage.my INH therapy almost complete.but i want to boost my mood and increase my serotonin in BRAIN.....i searching medi which have serotonin effect like INH have but IT must not have blood pressure increasing properties.


I searched these two medi but before use them i would like to confirm that these tricyclic antidepressants dont increase my blood pressure.

would these medi realy not increase my blood pressure??
