[National] Future Music Festival 2012

there is usually always a great line up (mostly) but I can't stand the crowd that future parties attract now, and it always clashes with Maitreya Festival, which i'll always pick over anything. Aphex Twin would have drawn me further to go, but now that he's doing a side show.. i'm going to that.. then bonobo live later on that week! it's going to be one awesome week for music
 
started noticing tv ads for this, the promoters have started to panic.
 
tickets arrived today was quicker than expected and cheaper than big day out witch had a shitline up compaird to futures :D

Can anyone find a time table with actul times on it i managed to hunt down 1 but it has no time wtf :\
 
I can't find a set time to save myself. Surely they've got that sorted by now!
 
^ Heh, your post reminded me to check the set-times for soundwave, totally missed the release 5 days ago..
 
I'll be going to Future this year, only 2 more weekends to wait! the lineup looks good!
 
Just found out I can get paid to wristband people for a few hours, get paid fuck all and then get free entry.
Probably going to go as it saves me forking out extra money to see Aphex Twin at a side show.
Pity about all the dickheads that will be attending.......

The crowd at Future in Brisbane was fucking shit, was a very obvious contrast to the Soundwave crowd in Melbourne who seemed to be far more interested in the music and not just there to get fucked up. I'm fairly over Future Entertainment events, too much of a money grab and very little to do with providing a good experience.

But having said all that, I HAD A FUCKING BALL!!! Skrillex was excellent but the highlight for me by a million miles was Knife Party. That set was fucking hectic, loved the shit out of every second of it. They even had Skrillex come up on stage for a few tracks too.

I can't recommend ditching Fat Boy to watch Knife Party enough! :D
 
^ Only if you went to a Knife Party side show! Otherwise you just missed out ;)
 
^ Knife Party isnt my thing....I like trance ;-) Did you get wet much, weather wasn't great on Saturday.
 
Didn't get wet at all, it rained at bit later in the night but we were under cover at the time. Was muddy tho, another shirt bites the dust. Or the mud as the case may be.
