Hello from MD. I've used bluelight for awhile for information but this is my first time posting. I really would like to meet others in MD with the same interests. Any people from Maryland here?

What sort of interests do you have?

I have a lot of interests. I am a nature freak, love animals and such. I also consider myself a spiritual person and have a lot of interest in the meaning of life/soul searching..yadda yadda. I'm also taking classes currently for my Psychology degree.

My interests with this website? Well I have a history and consider myself a sort of.. well.. self proclaimed expert. A lot of experience and a lot of knowledge in quite a few of different topics in these forums. My current interests are with prescription opiates. I have a lot of knowledge and am currently taking oxycodones. So I'm just here to either help or to have a voice.

I'm also hoping to find like minded individuals who live nearby. I do not have many friends in this area, so I'm always interested in meeting new people.

Hi, welcome. I'm from Maryland too. I grew up in Pasadena, MD, lived in Baltimore City for a while and also lived in College Park. But just a couple months ago I moved across the country to Portland. Kinda had enough of Baltimore for a while=)

After watching The Wire and The Corner, I don't blame you. =D

Haha, yeah man. Both of those shows are just about spot on. The whole city is just so fucking grimy and I've been trying to stay away from the dope scene. I know Portland is pretty big into heroin too but it's so much nicer, and at least if I get into it out here I... well, let's just say at least I wont be doing it in Baltimore! Baltimore still is great though. It's trashiness and lack of class actually make it all the more awesome in a lot of ways. They don't call it "Charm City" for nothin'.

So, Amy. Where are you taking classes at? And have you lived in Maryland your whole life?

Los Angeles has a problem with black tar heroin, but it's pretty central to the worst parts of Los Angeles. In fact, I don't even know what the quality of heroin is like in Los Angeles, I think most people I know out here would drive farther out to score it.

Hi Amy, I'm from Maryland myself. I am also new here myself. If you would like, feel free to send me a PM. I'm always up for meeting new people to hang out with and its been 2 or 3 years since I've been out to western MD. :)

Wow.. weird!! I grew up in Pasadena also, well sorta grew up there. I went to high school there (Chesapeake High.) Hated it. Really dislike this state as a whole. I do not have MD pride, whatsoever. My father was a marine, so we traveled a lot, so luckly I have not been here my whole life. I would love to get out of this state and plan on doing it as soon as possible. My mother lives in the UK, so that might be where I end up.

I'm taking online classes with Liberty. I'm going for a Psychology degree. Have a million directions I want to take that with.

Yeah back in the 90's, particularly around 97, Baltimore was the herion capital of America, according to news reports and such. It was the big thing but not for me. At that time I was into glass or crystal meth when glass was not available. I was big in the rave scene back then.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Just curious to see if at all possible we were running in the same crowds at all.

Pretty much all of Maryland is shitty. No sense of community at all... Everybody and everything seems to lack permanence-- nobody stays for long except for the people you grow to hate.

I blame DC. Pretty much everything around the Capitol exists as bedroom communities for DC workers, who tend to get about 5 years work experience and then dip the fuck out of the state for good. That and all the military families that are stationed for a few years at a time and then never look back when they get stationed elsewhere. For what it's worth, though, I went to school out in Western Maryland (a bit more west than Hagerstown, though) and that was by far the most pleasant Maryland experience I've ever had. Something about the mountains just seemed to calm everybody down... But it also seemed like the farther west you get, the poorer (and thus more rampant with petty crime bullshit) the people get. It probably didn't help that two state prisons were within 20 miles of my school, though.... Eh...

Anyways now that I'm done rambling, glad you started posting around here! I hope Hagerstown treats you better than Pasadena did when you were younger. :)

Haha, Chesapeak huh? I went to Northeast. I'm 26, so around '97 all I think I had done was drank a couple of beers that I'd stolen from my parents, lol. Drop some names though, it's possible. You know the band Pasadena? I know their guitarist Will Finley 'cause his younger brother Aaron and I used to hang out all the time when we were little kids.
