Deliriants sight loss

Its been 1,5 month after i took dramamine. After having blurry sght, next day my vision seemd normal again.

Iv been worring abouth my healt, asthma for example, but doctor said that my lungs are ok. On the other hand, he said that i coudl have gone blind, but if i did noticed any problems i shoudl be ok.

So efter leaving doctor, i tried to read book with left eye covered, then with right eye covered. And vision in my left eye is little more blurry.
What woudl have caused this? Deliriants rise pressure inside eyelid, thats the cause for blurred vision that everyone using these drugs experience. Something like glaucoma.

So, i am wondering. If its been 1,5 month already will this be pernament? Will be ever my eyesight normal again?
Or even so, will this get worse? Coudl it be that i will go blind some day?

I did not earlier payed attencion to it, but last moth i felt some tightness in my eyes! Does it mean that this dramamine effect is still active?

Fuck, i was so stupid. Well, what is more, most faqs about dimenhydrinate dont even warn users about possible eyesight complications. Only something like font do it if you have glaucoma, well i had not glaucoma earlier.

Hmm. Glaucoma is damage to the 'Rods and Cones' (the cells that convert light into neuronal signals), usually caused by raised interocular pressure, as you said, maybe from a blocked duct or thyroid hormone issues.
However the eye discomfort caused by deliriants (Such as Scopalamine or Nightshade/Belladonna etc) is caused by reduced mucosal secretions (I think - someone correct me if I'm wrong!).
I am not entirely sure that this side effect applies to Dramamine but I wouldn't be surprised. So, perhaps your symptoms (blurred vision ) are being caused by dry eyes, (put simply). Before assuming the worst, try one of those eye baths (you know the things - 'Soothing therapy for tired eyes). It also seems that the opthalmic problems/side-effects of deliriants often take longer to wear off than the psychotropic effects. You might have to bathe them gently for a while to relieve discomfort.
I am no doctor though. If your problems do not respond to my suggestion within a reasonable time, you should seek help. 1, 5 or 15 months (not sure how long you mean) does seem quite a while for the symptoms to clear.
I hope you have some improvement soon.
Peace - Pipp

Well, i ment 1 and half month.
Most people report stopping of blurry vision on max 1 weak after taking dileriant, coudl it be that sometimes it takes longer time to recover completly? Im just worrying if its pernament.

But no offence, i will go to eye doctor IMMEDIATLY, without trying healig my eyesight with your methods earlier.
Thought about going blind is worse than death.

Btw, it seems that DXM can cause something symilar! Well what a shame, i liked first plateu so much. On the other hand, THC lowers eyelid pressure :)

I did some research.
Mucosal secretions is one thing. Its temporary.
And pressure rise is another.
Such pressure rise caused by dmh is actually something like narrow angle glaucoma acute attack.
I found on bluelight report that someone had pernamently blurred vision in one eye after abusing dramamine for year, but for fuck sake, after one usage? Mabye i had glaucoma earlier and didnt noticed.
Going to eye doctor next week.

I hope its some anothe defect, no pernament optic nerve (slight, but still) corruption - secondary glaucoma.
I really hope.
Fuck, to worsen your sight pernemently because some shit, its so stupid.
And if it will get worse...?

And worst about it is thought that it coudl been worse. That i coudl pernamently go blind. Like some pople after using Datura do.
What woudl my parends do?
I feel so much guilt now.

Maybe you need glasses? Have you had your eyes checked? It is quite common to have one eye slightly worse than the other.

This.

I've noticed the vision in one of my eyes degrade these past few years, but it's only really noticeable when I close one eye and try focusing through the open one.

As x-sun-x-moon-x rightfully said, for a lot of people vision isn't perfect and usually one eye tends to be worse than the other. It might be that this episode of worsened vision made you pay attention to your vision a lot more and notice a weakness in sight that was already present.

You should get your eyes tested to see if you need corrective lenses. Though as someone who did that and now wears glasses 24/7, I would suggest if your problem is minor and does not affect driving or anything else where deteriorated sight can cause danger - then if you get glasses, try to only wear them when necessary, as I feel my eyes adjusting to my glasses made my vision deteriorate faster.

Hope this helps :)

Thank you so much for these words guys, i hope everything will be allright.

Well, evn now i feel some kind of pressure in my eyes - just like i felt BEFORE hearing about possible sight damage after dmh. How that possible? All dmh is long gone from my body, and pressure is still up? This woudl mean that my optic nerves are degenerating even now.
Or I am just paranoid.

I went temporarily blind after ingesting massive amount of crushed nutmeg when I was very very young. I just had to go to sleep and when I woke up I could see perfectly fine again...still very alarming.

^that sounds like a pretty crazy story..

but I think that maybe you're thinking too much about your eye pressure. Smoke some weed that apparently cures glaucoma and regulates eye pressure. Eat some carrots too :D

My left eye is near blind compared to my right eye. And my right eye is near blind compared to a 20/20 visions eyes. Not uncommon. Your just overstressing you have slightly worse eyesight in one eye. Also, if your a smoker, cigarettes deteriorate your eyesight.
