Sick children and animals are a nightmare. What kind of dog do you have MM? My dog is crippled by separation anxiety, shivers with fear before being left alone then gouges great chunks out of the kitchen door while we are out... The only plus side is we can get as many blues as we like from the vet...

Vets - one place were we all have to go private...

EDIT: lucky for the dog is was Valium bcf; they metabolise it different so our 7kg dog can have 10-20mg with only minor sedation. 1 ibuprofen could kill a Rottweiler though...
 
^ very interesting! i did not know that, yeah was very lucky it wasn't anything else, had it been a bag of e's said dog wouldn't be with us..tbh im not sure if the dog still is or not, haven't seen that mate in over 5 years!
Did not know ibuprofen was so dangerous to dogs
 
no, no stash eaten, he did eat a bit of bubble hash when he was young and after spending 24 hours cuddled up with me listening to the Orb he was okay, he won't ever touch hash or weed again :D

He's just managed a bit of chicken, i took a mouthful to him, which he ate, then I dropped a bit on the floor and he seemed interested, got off the chair and went to eat it.

So he has appetite.

Anyway, I just finish my tea then gonna bollock round as fast I can to get the post delivered and take hero vets if he still same when i get back.

You see, pets can enjoy it too :P when i get myself a pet i will have it as a stoner friend too lol, you know Bong-Ra of dutch breakcore fame, he drops pills with his cat lol!

im REALLY hoping thats just some of ye ol' dartmoor humour...rectally administering a drug thats not only unresearchedon humans let alone a dog which has a far diff dna make up copared to us or monkeys or rats.. anyway i presume the former :p

EDIT: im really gunna be in the shit at work, took a sicky then proceeded to get a molten lump of afghan black on the 8 key and the m key of the work laptop 8)

See, none of this would have happened if you'd privately educated the bugger. Mind you he'd have a taste for Wagyu beef with a little bowl of champagne on the side.

eh, not good. and I have very similar cat issues atm. sluggish and lacking sparkle. hard to pinpoint but sleeping more than usual and sticking close to heaters. She has to have thyroid pills twice a day and painkillers for arthritis but I'm not putting her through that palarva when she's feeling obviously out of sorts.

she's eating tho, so that's good. if he's eating still MM, think that's normally a good sign and it helps keep them physically able to keep fighting off whatever's plaguing em

hope he picks up soon

:| fucks sake mate, I wouldn't waste the holiest of sacraments on a fucking dog, and I wouldn't share a rectal syringe with him either ;)

he's had some chicken, and just eaten some of his biscuits, and some water, and now he's chewing his bone...just waiting for my boss to call back, I've just rung him to see if I can take Hero out in the van with me for the rest of the day rather than leaving him on his own.
 
I was only jesting with ya... prob not the best time as i can sense yer worried, get a spliff and a cuppa in ya man and take yer lil buddy with ya posty pat style ;)

I don't want to rekindle the private / state school debate in this thread at all, but JSPete might be interested to know that I've just been sent an email regarding a project entitled 'Bedford Modern School'.

Small world? Synchronicity? All part of the everyday weirdness around here.

The usual xanax, gabapentin, codeine and doxylamine combo which I've been given for my 4 herniated discs is what is going on.

I think private and public schools are reversed in Aus. I.E. I went to a private school which is where all the douche bag rich chaps send their kids.

yeah, he's still eating, he's managed to jump up on my lap for a fuss, and he's now back to chasing his tail like the twat of a dog I know and love <3

perhaps he is a bit brighter than I give him credit for bcf ;)

Anyway, he's wasted an hour of my time, and back to work for me :(

I'm going to send animals in the next time I feel like going drug-seeking.

Tripman - the terminology's weird over here - you're right in saying that what's called a 'public' school is actually privately run.
